AirDog PSI
The line and fitting you need to take off is the return line from the air dog back to the tank. The spring and ball are behind that fitting. You don't want the fuel pressure going above 20 psi, but no lower than 14 both for the life of your vp44Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Transmission Maintenance?
A billet input shaft, triple disc torque converter, and a valve body/shift kit. Depending on the use and abuse it would be a good investment to have it overhauled (clutches, bands, seals) while it is out for the torque converter. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

What fuel pressure do you run if you have a gauge?
You might be on to something. A friend of mine had replaced the stock lift pump on his truck and whichever pump he got (not sure if it was a raptor or not) and the wiring for the pump didn't come with a relay and was trying to run the pump straight from the ecm wiring. He didn't have a fuel pressure gauge so I'm not sure about pressure drop but after wiring a relay with heavier wire to run the pump it gave it a slight, seat of the pants dyno, power increase. cummins/ECM plug ?
That info should be available in the manuals for the engine on quickserve. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

cummins/ECM plug ?
I'm not sure what website you are talking about. You should try quickserve, you will need your ESNnumber of the engine tag. https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Fuel return "Tee"
It was not fun but I was able to get to mine with a medium length wrench and some scratches on my arm. I forgot to check the last time I had the cover off to adjust the valves but it might be easier going from the top with the valve cover off. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
I was reading on Cummins forum and someone had added a ground from the pcm(passenger side of the firewall) to the negative terminal on the battery. I added this wire to mine about a week ago and have not had the TC issue once since installing the wire. Just to be sure I unhooked the write before leaving work today and the TC issue was back within a few miles. I pulled over and reconnected it and had no more problems the rest of my drive. Might be something to consider trying. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Power steering/Brake booster issues
Does anyone happen to know where you can get parts for these steering boxes? I want to try replacing the output shaft in my original steering box but can't seem to find a parts source. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Power steering/Brake booster issues
Well, thought I had it figured out. Got the kit from piratejack and rebuilt the booster. While it was apart I found the spool valve was sticking pretty badly. Got it all freed up and put back together and it worked good until the drive to work today. Had the loss of steering and the odd braking again. I'm really thinking it may be the steering box, does anyone know of any options for a steering box other than Borgeson?Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

oil pressure

DIY Pinion Seal Replacement - Dana 80
The spacers and shims between the bearings set the pinion bearing pre load. The position of the nut doesn't matter and the number of threads showing shouldn't change. The 14 bolt corporate is set up the same way, just hammer the nut on with an impact and its done. I always use loctite just to be safe, but have never had an issue. Setting the pinion depth is a completely different story. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Burnt Read Diff Fluid
Could swap in a classic Chevy rear axle and get rid of the factory junk. I'm so looking forward to when I get around to doing the swap to mine. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

From what you have there I think I might go with the s300/s400 combo. Don't have that much power and never really plan to go that far, but would be nice to know I can if I want without spending money on parts again. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

My truck has the hy35 so I think it would have to go. Can bend and weld so the piping wouldn't be an issue. Buying the turbos and deciding which ones to use would be my issue. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

wider offset rims same tires, drives like sh*t.
I took my truck to get an alignment from someone that had been doing alignments for 25 years. Talking to him he seemed to know what he was talking about however I soon found out he had no clue. I watched him turn the steering wheel back and forth until the computer screen said everything was good then print the page and take my truck back outside. He never even looked under it. I had 4 bad ball joints, a bad track bar, and destroyed suspension arm bushings when I took it there and nothing was mentioned and they weren't very happy when they found it out. Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
Removed the negative terminal on the passenger side battery and reinstalled, didn't clean or anything and it solved the problem once again for now. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

I have repeatedly hit 1500+( gauge max at 1500) for egt. It didn't matter with the edge on or off, still can hit it either way. The only way I know of to drop them is cooler air and more of it, or water injection. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
That was short lived. The lights and all the other improvements still seem to be there but the converter issue started again on my way to work today. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
I decided to try adding a ground wire to my alternator before I cleaned the battery terminals again and the issue didn't happen once on the way to work this morning. Might be onto a cure for that problem. I noticed a couple other things also after adding the ground wire. It looked like my headlights and dash lights were a little brighter than before. Also seemed like the engine ran smoother than yesterday. Need a couple guys without auto transmissions to add a ground to their alternator and see if they notice any improvements or if I'm seeing things. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Best way to spend a few hundred bucks????
Definitely get an EGT gauge when you put the tuner on. I also have the hy turbo and can easily peg my 1500 degree EGT gauge even without towing. It goes north of 1200 pretty often with all the hills around here. I also have a hotrod VP which I'm sure helps get the temps that high(which isn't good). I'm sure I have more than over sped my turbo a few times since I have seen it hit 42 psi. If I would have known what I do now I would have bought a bigger turbo when installing the edge comp. Something you might want to consider. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
