  1. @jag what is your timing on yours? Hotrods add timing too right?
  2. @YeaImDylan yes I have the .093 lines and tubes, they are required for the df pump. Also required size injectors for the bigger pump, the 7x15 and 6x18 arepretty close to the same. You have to be pretty careful with ends of lines and tubes, they knick easy and can get deformed. Here at John deere we don't re use lines or tubes just cause of deformation and just cause it's required. Not saying it's right/wrong or you should do it but I personally I have reused mine on this one and many before multiple times, just gotta be careful.
  3. Well here's the new injectors. Got a lope to it, clears up sometimes but barely touch the throttle and back at it. Really really really need to figure out this timing crap, it's gonna drive me bonkers! 7x15's Lope
  4. Yea I'll search around more tomorrow. For now I just used the stud for wiring harness clamp on vacuum pump. Prolly just a good aye?
  5. Yea not looking so good for bolts..... is there an M5 on the truck I can rob till I find another? Or I got a 1/4-20 tap....
  6. I might have to use the standard equivalent/kinda close for now. I have no idea where to find a M5 bolt lol. And I have 30ft wall bolt bin! Never ran across one... maybe Amazon haha.

  8. Also the ground spot by vp44 I assume this is just a hole to mount ring terminals to, connecting wire from battery to here thus making the ground. Cause the housing where the bolt would go is aluminum. Alot of this is not stated so I'm just making sure this is what is actually happening lol.

  10. Well the 7x15's are installed. I set quad to 0-off. Will drive and see what happens in a bit. I need to figure out what I'm missing on this W-T mod... got a thread open in it. Will data logging with everything off-stock show what timing is doing ? Maybe it will help?
  11. So I'm mid way guess doing this and can understand he group of wires that get spliced into a larger gauge wire, those all get cut and put into a ring terminal at the suggested vp44 ground. Then a ground wire from drivers side battery to same ground spot at vp44 with other wires. The rest of the wires just go back where they supposed to go... Now I have the alternator wire that goes straight over to the fuse block. If I'm reading it right I'm supposed to remove it from here then connect back to alternator and route to POS battery on passenger side??? What am I doing with the blank location at the fuse block? Lastly what am I doing with these grounds just point the one ring terminal back to neg on passenger side battery? Please let know what I'm missing or not understanding.
  12. Update: Well after a long talk with Mitchell and me being very indecisive! We settled on jumping back up in size to ( 7x15's ) comparable to my 6x18's I had originally. Gonna break trying that 7 hole out, see what it does to... Hopefully he sent them yesterday and I'll get them today. Side note: dropping that cruise timing to 0* I think helped out. I might try getting a hold of Industrial Injection and see if they will provide timing spec for the dragon flow...
  13. I tried to make a graph through Google sheets but didn't really workout to well. Had over 10,000 rows, I used the 75? row suggestion but which section to you pick? There's so many and kinda linear and hard to determine where what is lol. And I really don't know what I'm looking for it to actually be useful to me... I guess I'll mention it in this thread, my egt's are not reading on my tablet as of yesterday. Sometimes it will sporadically come on but... I checked the only connection it has and wiring but it's all good and brand new? I send quadzilla and email through the tech support so I'll see what they say. I'll also update my injector issue on other thread.

  17. No they didn't but I'll ask tomorrow. Which one is cruise timing the light throttle timing advance? People call them different names I'm seeing Edit: figured that out, lol. Pulling that cruise timing off this morning and drive in to work.
  18. @YeaImDylan no it shouldn't sound like my truck/video, it is very much a miss/ping/knock =no go. A miss etc will go away/ hidden when higher rpms are present.
  19. Yea, I looked at starlink but the deposit plus waiting to see if I can actually get it kinda scares me. I keep looking and trying but nothing yet. They stopped the local high speed fiber 1 mile south of me and the guys north of me stopped about 5 miles north of me. Kinda in between which sucks... yup I'm not in the city by no means. I have a Gmail account/drive is it better to upload there instead? Or easier I guess?
  20. It will upload this but not a 70mb video well under the limit. Idk, I don't have internet where I live (no one offers it) so I depend on the Ole cellphone and boy does it take awhile to upload to youtube. Can be done though. 😊 If you guys would like some more videos of it running etc I can do that just let me know. I'd post the data log but I can't do that either lol, see other post*.
  21. Idk why I can't upload videos, I kept them short well under the max 137 mb or what ever it is. One was only 70mb and it kicked error code 200? I guess just be clear if not already know, I'm not looking to/for smoke lol. I just know I should have it with the setup, nature of the beast, now with the quad when all is straightened out I can hopefully clean it up some. "Smoke" has got a bad rap or stigma to it with all the younger kids etc... Agreed. I called DAP today and asked for guy Mitchell but he left for the day. Hopefully tomorrow. They should do another warranty and I guess I'll just have them make a set of 6x16 or 6x18 or step into that 7 hole realm?
  22. I literally just got home with it. Hard to tell with 5 cylinders lol the timing change made it less peppy I think. I noticed a bit of smoke but nothing even close to pre injector/quad, I also didn't want to really push it cause who knows what could happen with this Mish mash of things going on.
  23. Just a fun daily driver I guess. I don't tow hardly ever maybe a handful of times a year if that. It's my daily so there's that, alot of my stuff doesn't necessarily contribute to a daily but... When I wanna hammer down by God I wanna hammer down haha. I removed 2* from everything 1500 @ 10, 2000 @ 15, 2500 @ 19, 3000 @ 23, max @ 27 and 100 from 0-10 then +2 till 15 then +4 up to 30
  24. Before the quad and new injectors having those 6x18s in it would take a bit to spool up then boom off like a rocker, then they started acting up to which where we are now. I guess if their that much smaller then a bigger pump wouldn't like that nor the injector. Since I had the truck till now I haven't got better than 12mpg 😳 I'm sure after quad gets dialed in it might get better but... The spool with the quad is pretty decent, better than before atleast.
  25. Yea it's looking that way... yea p/o stated he did pull with it a couple times and no specific class but that's prolly a lie lol. How do I need to adjust for dragon flow timing then?
