2nd Gen Cummins heater temp differences between trucks
Amazing the number of subjects temp differences between trucks can lead to. Sounds like my history class in high school. Oh well... life is wonderful and at my age you become wiser about the circumstances you place yourself. Can't wait to hit the mountains with IBMobile and his gang.

Want to say that I also put the longest wipers on that fit the windshield and for some great reason they stopped that business of stopping in the wrong place. I really Like those longer wipers

@IBMobile, I am bit chicken about pulling the wiper arms. What is the best way and not damage anything? Do you guys mark the stop position with blue tape on the windshield and then just use hands no tools? T.I.A.

Not much heat getting exchanged for sure. When's the last time you flushed the system and checked for tree debris inside the plenum? I wish those plenums could have a simpler service access door to get in there for cleaning.

I bought my work truck used, one problem I had was when I dropped the blower motor out the 'squirrel cage fan was full of leaves. That's one thing and then IBMobile came up, from 800 miles away to do my Heater core. What a guy.. he is amazing. It does take awhile to warm the truck and get real heat. I think his wire diagram on switching the A/C compressor to control on/ off would be a good mod. One thing I found was it does real good to take the garden hose and flush thru the heater core both directions by adapting the hose to the inlet outlet heater hoses. Much dirt comes out that way.

24v partial pedal issue from hell!
Just took a look at BD Diesel Performance Google reviews. They have a lot of bad reviews. I suspect they are on the verge of going out of Biz. Buyer Beware. Owner says he's so concerned about each problem mentioned in each bad review but, the same bad treatment continues like it's company policy to keep a screwdriver handy at all times. Don't ever let your time frame keep you away from properly checking up on a company. Look how much they really cost. Just a glance would have certainly kept me away. You should always be very cautious when delving into a venture with a company or individual. I been dealing with companies/ individuals for over 40 years and can honestly say you need to be all the more careful these days.

@HaggarDoesn't having the lower knob on high temp keep the compressor from going on? Like a thermostat?

24v partial pedal issue from hell!
If it was coming from a Bosch approved facility, I am certain, under those circumstances, they would not have shipped out a VP in that condition in the first place. If they did, they would be required to make it right for you. That's a fact! Thanks guys for jumpin on board with this. I hope it's about to break with BD over the cliff as they don't need to be in biz. Look how much work involved doing the conversion of Cummins in a van. Nice! Like to see pics when done.

I hate to see when a hard working person gets ripped off or taken advantage of. I thank the OP for sharing with everyone out there.

Do they reveal to you which Bosch approved facility the VP's and Turbo's come from? I'm all ears!

24v partial pedal issue from hell!
Those rebuilt VP44's are all supposed to only be rebuilt by a Bosch approved facility. Just the test stand and the building with a hepa filter system , hence a 'clean room'. Is a million Dollar investment or more. I venture to say that the first VP44 sent to you is not an approved Bosch VP and therefore grounds to take them to small claims court (in your county) for your more than well deserved refund. Those guys are not right, are wrong sending a VP as you described. And this second one sent to you is also not approved... I venture to say . I would rapidly pursue this company you say is BD Diesel? Bosch approved VP44's also come with a new computer installed onto the VP as well and I suspect part of your proplem is the bad pc board on top of the VP sent the second time. I am really pissed that you were put through this from something done dishonorably to you. You are a hard worker and don't let these people get away with this, Please! A final note; I just did some checking on this company, BD Diesel Performance. They have a history of blaming even the most meticulous installers for the warranty failures. Using lame excuses on expensive transmission installs, Turbo's etc. They say pay us for the second unit then ship us the bad unit and we'll determine wether you get your money back or not. As a matter of practice the BS comes back blaming something you did. People, always but, always check a companies history before dealing with someone. You should always be a very careful buyer, especially these days, and do the research first.

Getting any Vaccine has a known trade off, that is vaccines weaken your immune systems ability to fight off other types of disease. That's the price you pay, so I wouldn't continue getting more jabs. Also the PCR test has a rather low accuracy rating esp. with doctors that have done research on the original development of the PCR test conclude that it is 'unreliable'. Another interesting finding is that most Americans are vitamin D deficient with one heart surgeon having a 53 % greater success rate treating heart patients in hospitals with vitamin D treatments. in their IV. I bought some vitamin D yesterday and now refuse sun tan lotion.

Squirrels Got Me Good
I wonder how long the economy can hold up. I read about many younger generation homeowners already hold down two jobs to make their house payments.

Squirrels Got Me Good
Me too! $4.09 a gallon for diesel now. Last time we saw this it was as high as $4.55 a gallon and everyone got scared and the economy nose dived not too long after. This time these price increases may be more affordable being 13/14 years later now but, who knows?

I like the looks of the Jeep Rubicon Unlimited (extended wagon style) but, the forum talk says they aren't so good. At 50 K average for a used one I think I can stay away.

Get yourself a decent enough place away from towns and cities. Not too big of a house but, a good enough shop that you can do most all your own work. Build up tools too. Got to go Power going out any min.
