Right now it's snowing at my place after many years without. Also my winter creek is running at a good clip after ten years or longer of being dry. This is a very good sign everyone. These last 3 years we've seen extreme fire conditions and danger in our forests. The last ten have been generally drier, not normal for the Pacific NW. Did I say this is very good sign with our current winter weather?! Keep your faith, ignore the evil and say prayers. It won't hurt if you do, I promise!

I am redoing a stairwell for some real nice folks. They are part of the owners to an auto parts store. They are so nice, the same people are working there since I started going there in the 80's. All new finish treads and skirtboards. New handrail that has LED lights hidden under the handrail. They come on by motion. Soon as I'm done it will be Christmas or I may have one day or so to finish up afterward. They are so nice as they aren't like many folks who have to have everything done by Christmas eve. It really cool working there. After Christmas, The wife and I , as long as she ain't crabby, will go somewhere for a day or two just to get away..We kinda been couped up a lot with all the rain. Use a heat gun and warm the mating sufaces and silly cone will work fine but, tape it on for a week in cold temps. We found in construction when using a caulk adhesive sealant it won't hold well until you warm the surface first. You can see the light film of mosture drying off the surface when using the heat gun.
