50 mph gusts tonight with rain for us. One tree leaning excessively toward our private road is moving the ground with it. I expect that one to come down tonight. About 33 degrees at 10 tonight. Skies clearing. You can feel it getting colder as time goes on and we get closer to the winter storm on its way in for early Sat thru Sunday. Time to get the snow shoes out possibly if you live in the Cascades. A bit of weather history worth looking into is the time during the great dust bowl. Note that over 5,000 people died just from the unrelenting heat wave that occured. This heat cycle went on for several years which lead up the Great Dust Bowl inwhich there was devastating drought and heat in about 5-7 states. Worth doing a search anyhow esp. knowing this extreme cycle hasn't come back to that region since those years. Anyone ever talk to someone that experienced those horrible conditions back then?

Why can't aluminum be soldered like copper radiators? As we post I'm having two items made of stainless for wood framed chimney tops. Even the corners are to be soldered for watertight.

Wondering if a more permanent way would be to remove the silly plastic and have a sheet metal shop make a copper piece to match! We have a talented sheet metal shop in town that makes anything with copper. Everything soldered, he guarantees not to leak. I just don't know about the attatchment point if that can also be soldered. Plastic on a radiator bugs the heck out of me. Soon we'll be able to pay 80/90 grand on a truck and have to redo everything if keeps going like this.

This happened on my truck with cleaned terminals and it was a shorted alternator. This happened on my work truck the day after running the grid heaters and both seat heaters on high at the same time. I wanted to see how much the alt could take. When chasing a new or rebuilt one, I told the old guy at the counter, ''please, no Ultima brand rebuilds", as they had horrid reviews. So I let him talk me into Ultima's premium rebuild convincing me they have changed their ways and their premium rebuild is actually a good one. He put it on the test stand to show the level of AC ripple , which was very low. Over a year later and I'm on the seat heaters again but, this time after the grids are done. So far so good. Need to test the AC level again now though.

Since we have raditators with plastic parts these days should we cut this valve off as a rule?

Yeah I suggest getting the new one before it's gone but, be sure and read the reviews on it first, make sure it's an okay item. Some reviews are so glowing it too obvious. So be sure and read the most critical or the lower rated reviews and go by those if they seem logical enough.

Good one I got a thought the other day about all the droughts and floods, that things are out of balance with the weather anyway. So this CO2 emissions that are supposed to be excessive and causing problems, could it mean that the water molecule cannot bond with hydrogen to make H2O, badly needed rain??? Mainly because the Oxygen molecule gets bonded to the carbon molecule during combustion and isn't free to become water?? I wonder if this aspect has been considered instead of the greenhouse effect that CO2 is resposible for.

Just think eternity and the big ball floatin around space in our solar system in a galaxy with millions of stars so many light years away you could never get there even at the speed of light. there are millions and millions of galaxies. Im keeping my faith and hopes up Doubletrouble. Just think back in the 70's, I was in my 20's and this country seemed untrashed, young and uncrowded. Gees we had a good time going all over the place on our motorcycles and sports cars. Everywhere you went was a blast. I know that the media and the Democrats are working together to drive a splittin' wedge between the American people, always wanting to find a bigger hammer. It's what the entity of darkness wants. Back in the 60's/70's we used to laugh off our differences like it was okay, it was cool...you avoided some people,of course but, we still made a team when someone needed help and we didn't make a big political deal out of it. Many times I think a lot of it is guilty conscience motivated (want to throw us off the trail of truth) from taking hugh sums of money from gov't contractors, vendors or campaign contributions because they favored those kickbacks in their policies. It's an evil thing to see them take such good care of themselves and leave us with the debt.

it is so dissappointing to see a country going more and more lawless every day. There are so many good innocent people that need and deserve a good government and desrve protection but, it's failing right in front of our eyes. What the hell is wrong with them? my dad died fighting for our country, it left 7 of us kids. What a tough time growing up w/o a father. It makes me sick to see how they are throwing a great nation away.

I like your post above. I wonder what else you could do to destroy a country. I think our gov't is tyranical so full of BS. Using a stupid virus for excuses not to work, not to prosecute criminals, not to enforce traffic laws, and much more of a failure to the American people. Letting out violent ciminals, closing prisons. We have no borders and who really knows those coming across!? America is becoming weak and our gov't is a total loss with historical spending, historical inflation. Watch your savings dwindle from price increases. And they put up quarter million dollar security systems and walls around their own property. Maybe because they know we are eventually going to get angry about the ruination of America. It's a sad state of affairs

The Omnicron variant horror and fear was started so they can have mail in ballots again. Im quoting Levene on Fox news. He says with cancer and heart disease killing many thousands more than Corona virus, why arent they working on curing those two killers?? They still haven't been able to isolate and identify the Covy 19 virus so it still not proven there is a novel virus. Therefore people with differeing symptoms doesn't mean there is a novel variant. Real death rate numbers were hidden at first from public view by failing to give numbers based on per capita. Which again shows it not to be a novel virus or flu when compared to other flu seasons. Death rate numbers are still inflated because the Gov't pays hospitals a bonus of 13,000 bucks for each Corona virus death.

Look at it this way... at least it's real and don't lock you inside. And when it's running you can tell if there's a problem just going by the way she sounds. plus you won't need 5 fire depts. if she ever wrecks. Whatever anyone else can to say for keeping it.
