  1. They have increased building permits and mounted up the application paperwork by 4 times in the last ten years. Raised taxes and at the same time not funded needed services. Stopped evictions causing landlords to drastically raise rents to make up their losses.
  2. When I hear about the Olympics my thoughts go to the mountains in the NW corner of Washington State. And when a new variant comes out I think, 'Oh goodie, I can get another booster and in ten years I will have gotten 20 of them things on the tax payers with big green lumps on my lips.
  3. No more homeless problem and save taxpayers money
  4. They want to defund the police, then why don't we breed grizz and like rabbits and set them loose in our cities? If you steal you get sprayed with twinkie smell.
  5. I was camping in the Canadian Rocky Mountains one October. It started snowing the morning we were to leave for home. Only it was coming down in fist size chunks and snowed 6 inches in one hour. We hurried up to get out of there and the snow stopped, it was a beautiful day while heading south. I'll never forget the amount of snow coming down that morning.
  6. Now because of this contrarian view about fuel pressure, out of spite I 'm going to watch my return flow either increase or stay the same while I move the seat forward with a stick on the go pedal. Just to see what happens if anything as I can look down my fill neck and see the flow. Never thought to do this before.
  7. Thank you for sharing. Never seen those before. Do you guys run across many Cougar tracks running those?
  8. That is correct. Based on what we know today running off the ECM for power is a slow process in which kills the ECM. This based on information we have often seen in the past and Michael Nelson having concluded that was the issue.
  9. Raptor 150 from Vulcan Performance was 420 bucks 4 years ago. That included (all new 1/2'' lines) and new draw straw with frame mount bracket and fuel gauge orifice. Also had the wire harness to run off the battery triggered by the ECM. Frame mount is easier to do.
  10. Bring mountain Bike and fishing pole or else Oh yeah, subject we're supposed to be on... We been having lots of dry days and unfortunately Our drought is coming back along with the rest of the west. Nights are cold, days are getting close to 50's for a high.

I always liked the white with the dark windows
  14. When those times finally get here I'll have to carry it in a dump truck and empty it on your driveway. Maybe, just maybe it might be enough by then....
  15. I see where your coming from. You know, there's too many guys out there that push an engine for everything its got. I can see you are reasonable about it now that you explained. Your talking about getting over the hills with the ups and downs not long steep grades.
  16. The longer this takes to finish the more money I'll have saved to buy it
  17. I don't mean to be contrary but, the best way is to not be pushing the Cummins for everything she's got all the time. It will save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Best way of taking the long grades hauling heavy is click down into tow haul and go about 50/55, enjoy the scenery. I cringe when someone goes by hauling a big RV, pushing the engine for everything it's got. It's not the way to treat an investment meant for the long term. I don't mean to stir the pot here... just sayin'.
  18. Todays MD's can differentiate between trash and higher noble metals giving you a reading on a scale to which gold, silver fall into. less noble metals like iron fall below zero and show in the minus area. The best and most successful detectors are Mine Lab Detectors where the older items are usually deeper. They can detect much deeper than most other brands.
  19. Wow! amazing. Wil you got to get a good metal detector for going around those old ruins. It's just too ripe not too get one and it perfect for your vacations. All you need is one good hit and it's most exciting but, you have to be patient and learn it well enough and you will know just about what's there before digging. I am still learning after five years getting okay at it.
  20. Excuse me for the interruption... can engine load be checked with a simple 200 dollar Bosch code reader? If not is there another way to tell if injectors are at a low pop pressure even though there are no obvious symptoms i.e. higher idle, missing at idle etc.? I ask because it seems when the tell tale signs are present, often it's too late with some damage already occurring.
  21. Does taking the Scottish 500 mean that you have to do 100 miles per hour (what's that in kilometers?) just to reach the speed limit with your 5th wheel in tow? For some reason all I see is a roof membrane peeling off. LOL
  22. I understand the roads thru the Black hills are supposed to be spectacular on a motorcycle. Thinkin' about it, like to leave everything for a whole summer on a Harley Davidson.
  23. We won't forget but, you have to mark your calendar so you automatically know to turn down any business for those 9 or 10 days. Sometimes it's 12 days. I discovered it was very satisfying, in a strange way, to turn down work keeping that time for you. It felt right instead of always giving in.
  24. @Mopar1973Man says he is going to make the biggest attempt at going. I know he just has to mark the calender what days and schedule everything around it. That way it's actually planned and your not disappointing everyone at the last minute. In reality his transmission went out and had to cancel. If your worried about the cold with your RV, IBMobile and the gang runs the water all nite. Mine has heat ducted to the tanks with all lines inside . There's plenty of frost free hydrants everywhere so no big deal just camp next to one. with the rest of us and we'll branch off a hose for you. That reminds me I need to bring a garden hose 'Y' for any that might forget.
  25. Sites aren't terribly uneven, 4-5 blocks of wood or whatever does the trick. I'm glad they don't pave the roads in and out, makes everyone drive slow with very little dust. It's pretty cool. place.
