  1. I may have to resort to some real medicine too eventually like Jack Daniels or even the most expensive smooth stuff I can find. My hips are okay but my one knee got hit with a hatchet at 12 years old and Wholy shinnikies hurts like a sum beach at nite. Don't know why it waited so long to start up again.
  2. I am 70 and work 4 to 6 hour days 3 to 4 times a week. It's nice that I take rain days and entire winters off. I like my time off better when I work. Just the way I'm hung I guess. And then meeting up at camp is good twice a year. I do a lot of easy trail Mtn biking and metal detecting and eat most of IBMobiles food
  3. Yep! But, go under there and see if the section coming out the back end of the muffler is in good shape good and solid. That's where most fail. When I was young I used to fix a lot of things that weren't broken, how I lost girlfriends too I guess!
  4. Your supposed to be in bed asleep at this hour
  5. I don't know John, the rear end cap to mine rusted and fell off (rear pipe section was swinging on its hanger) so one shop wanted 350 for just the muffler replacement. I went to my favorite muffler shop in the next town and he made a new end cap and outlet, welded that to the muffler with all new pipe from there on to the exhaust tip for 65 dollars. What a great person he is,,, owns the shop with three lifts and does all his own work. I have to admit I was lucky because he just got done with a big exhaust on a new Dodge Ram and so there was my tail section just laying there all nice and new. He gave it to me for free.
  6. Glad to see you posting IBMobile. You are no doubt better from the Faucci Flu.
  7. My Metal Detector has those typical button type disconnects to unlock the tubing and fit the sections into a smaller carry bag. However, the bottom section with the coil has a much longer carbon fiber tube attached making it impossible to get inside a reasonably sized carry bag. So without any carbon fiber knowledge I cut the tubing just above the male connector and split the tubing off the connector. Thinking I can simply slide the cut end back onto the male connector and use two quick release pins whenever I need to break it down to store it in the carry bag. I realized finally it's best to use non metallic hardware to fasten the sensing coil and carbon fiber tube together so it won't confuse the detector with metal quick release pins just above the coil. Anyway the short of it is that I am worried the carbon fiber will split not being epoxied back onto the connector? Does anyone know if it will not hold up using two all nylon nuts and bolts instead? TIA
  8. Oh, it's only that it's very interesting that Great Work 'cracked the code', figured out a way around the factory ECM and PSU. If I'm grasping what you've done here... The failed VP isn't the timing piston failure but, is a fault with the psg on top of the vp and since the ECM also failed you have by passed both those two. One thing... you young guys pick up on things fast, I need some of it sort of spelled out. Part of it also is the amazement when I see something like this.
  9. Especially when own your own state park, I remember the pics
  10. Im happy since IBMobile and his gang, great group BTW, all decided they are going this year. Great to meet up for fun and relaxation, like anyone who needs water in a desert It's a good way to recharge.
  11. Nice day today in Oregon today. Warm sun, some clouds after raining all day yesterday it was around 70 for the high today.
  12. Do you have to get an electric bike registered and insured just like a motorcycle? I ask because I see some going real fast and unfortunately, in a few areas where people are walking.
  13. Update; Did not get to working on the truck Sunday. I got into doing other things around here and the time flew by. Wish they'd put the clock back, being how I'm old and cannot adjust. I'm even getting up earlier but the hour is still getting lost somewhere every dang day .
  14. Thank you for the updates on your progress. It's interesting and your getting a lot done.
  15. All I see is the Diesel price sign still in my head $5.61 a gallon We have the rain hail today which I like because of the drought.
  16. Me and W-T did a short telephone diagnosis by my describing a previous lucky find and fix with the wire connection at the back of the drivers cylinder lock. Pulling the door panel helped reveal the trouble of course and is that particular connection at the lock cylinder. Going off all the time in areas with little to no RF noise indicated that it has to do with a bad connection. Thank You W-T and other members... wonderful site you all help make it. Need to get off my lazy bones and report back when I fix this tomorrow. Today is rest day as I have been doing the ground work for a new deck all week.
  17. Anyone know a good way to disable the alarm system? It's going off every time I use the key and then have to use the key FOB and hit lock then unlock to shut it off. I don't want to carry the key fob as I may loose it. I keep it in the door handle for whenever it goes off on me but, now it's all the time and had to disconnect the horn. T.I.A.
  18. I never read it in school either... I took Motorcycle instead !
  19. You would think his own military would turn on him and take care of the problem.
  20. Nukes aren't good at all since you destroy everything, poison everything for years afterward. MoparMan and me were just talking about how you cannot even go near the soil for years or you get cancer and die. It sends electronic particles thru your organs like tiny bullets everywhere and deteriorates your whole body even years later. You can't grow food in it, you cannot build upon it. Maybe someone knows about Nuclear fallout. I think it circles the world and increases the cancer rates for almost the entire planet. Not sure about that.
  21. I just had a lengthy text back and forth with my electrician. He is from Russia and says Putin is a criminal murderer. Another Russian associate of his jumped in the conversation and said most people in Russia feel the same way. They both have family back there. They just want peace, most want to come together with other Americans in faith and friendship. It was a good conversation. One of their main points is that American news is portraying this all wrong making out that all Russians are enemies. It's not true as they expressed their disdain for Putin calling him a murdering Criminal who needs to be taken care of.
  22. No we aren't getting the right information here in the states but, perhaps some is me not watching so I could have missed it. It's absolutely horrible what's going on there and if the Russians are like this how can they ever to be trusted? What's more, the rest of the world, some 140 countries, are against this slaughter and should all jump in to stop it. China needs to jump on board as well, not be wavering, no longer only wanting America's money for their products but, to protect the great resource we are.. Putin will never gain gain anything from this stupidity. Thank you @wil440 for getting this out as it heats my blood. You know if this escalates we could be talking about the last days spoken of when Jesus said in the last days there shall be wars and rumors of war and will escalate to a point at which 'no flesh shall be saved' so that's when Jesus says He will return. Those that are believers can stand with a greater courage against this murderous act. I know I waxed religious but, cannot help seeing the very impressive correlations between prophesy and the world today.
  23. I wish that I had made it there on my way back from Arizona. I was just a couple days too late from having things to get done here before I could leave Oregon.
  24. From what I gather on my news gives the impression it's not full fledged war on Ukraine. Just localized attacks that are increasing in frequency. The last I heard was one particular city is being bombarded from the air and hit with missiles. He can buy or negotiate what he wants instead of this cowardly murder, butchering the good people.
