Eeeee Gaaaaahds..... you better turn that up you not supposed to be less than 14 at all times. My two rigs are set at 19 to allow for pressure draw down going up hills or hauling heavy.

ECM died. Need help
W-T actually wants to see one more positive cable and two more negative cables battery to battery. This is because the temperature sensor is on the drivers battery making it out of balance. A major problem arose when my passenger battery had a shorted cell and the temp sensor could not tell it to stop charging. Because I didn't do the crossover cables and it literally shorted out my alternator to the point it was so hot it was smokin'. I have to say it again....it was smoking and it could have burned up the computer. What is very strange is I had W-T's article sent to me from 015point9 with all the pictures because it got lost and sent to me to reestablish and place in the articles section, but now somehow it is gone out of my private messages. I don't understand why it keeps getting deleted off this forum nor how someone can have the hacking power to get into my PMs and do that. It pisses me off because they are gone and cannot place them in the articles section now. W-T wants us to have the article as he wrote it so we all understand everything not just bits and pieces that we remember.

That's great Dan. No longer just a Dodge it's a piece of equipment. Thanks to Dynamic

ECM died. Need help
Yes, but because the temperature sensor is on the drivers side battery you need to better balance the system by adding additional paralleling cables between each battery.

Anyone use any oil drain valves in place of the drain plug
I've been changing my own oil since 15 yrs old (1966). If suddenly there was no plug to remove using a socket and wrench I would probably get all dizzy and step right in the oil drain pan.

Carbon footprint
Prayer has certainly worked in my life. I learned that God does things on his time, not yours nor mine..... you have learn to be patient and wait for the answer, always, always holding on to faith.

What causes Low Line Pressures on a 47re trans? Can we make a list?
Thank you all. I think we got the problem solved, I will know more tonight and get back about it.

What causes Low Line Pressures on a 47re trans? Can we make a list?
Please mention sensors, anything you know to check for. A complete list of things to check is what I'm after...... thank you.

Runs when cold - Major issues as warms
IMHO I believe Isspro Gauges are the most reliable. The siphon tube down the bottom won't tell you anything about what condition the screens are in. I saw one instance where the screens were clogged by some sort of residue left by the fuel. It was a varnish like coating, Other times I have seen dirt and sediments glommed onto the screens. Had to be causing a degree of fuel starvation. As the truck warms more sediment could be getting sucked into the screens the more it runs. Another item to watch is to leave the fuel cap loose when she acts up as it could be the tank vent is clogged and she is starving for fuel that way.

New Tires Cause constant Yaw Motion?
Thanks Dieselfuture, yes they are defenders made in the U.S.A. Imagine that! I think I better take a second look at the front end linkages too while the wife does the wheel wiggle for me.

New Tires Cause constant Yaw Motion?
Fronts were a bit low at 65 psi. I hope that's at least part of it. Thanks Mike. I have heard of that too and I went about 1400 miles to go see IBMobile up in the mountains right after purchasing the tires. I hope thats the other part of what's causing it as Its seems a bit better coming home, just not sure. They came with quite a lot of factory sipe in the tread, if that takes a while to break in too.

New Tires Cause constant Yaw Motion?
I carry a slide in camper for a long time. How can two New E rated Michelins on the rear cause this almost constant yaw motion..... oversteer condition? Never ever happened before. The tire dealer did show me one rim bent about 1/8th of an inch on the spin balance. Would that be it? Front end is tight as a rock, but its squirrely to drive. Tires are the most expensive Michelins you can buy same as on front. TIA

Rebuilt Alternators are suspect as well. How much A/C ripple is showing on your volt meter with it turned to house type current? Check the article section on how to test for the damaging AC noise throughout the system. Let us know what level its at OK?

Big line kit
I live almost next door to Eric. Been there many times. Eric is always been an honorable mention in my book from many dealings with him in the past. You would be hard pressed to be able to save money by going elsewhere for parts. If you need something custom or not available he could probably make it for you.

PCM/Trans issue
Do you get the 400 bucks back from the junkyard? Or is it a non return policy?

ECM died. Need help
Have you been running your lift pump off the ECM? The solution is to have the factory lift pump connector only trigger a relay so the lift pump runs off the batteries then a lift pump cannot fry the ECM. Most all of us have done this modification. Also do you have a fuel pressure gauge to tell what the lift pump is doing for pressure to the VP44? It has to stay above 14 at all times. Our articles section has the list of reputable ECM rebuilders, you should go with them only, as our forum has experience in the past them. Welcome to the forum
