put anti seize on the hubs for future ease of removal, i did it on mine and a slight tap and they fall out

mine was the same, had lunch while they turned it same price too

i installed a valair ceramic kevlar (nmu70279-06) $760 myself on my current daily driver rig, had the flywheel turned and it was in great shape, break it in properly and with a precise clutch foot you can slip it a bit. at first it will be grabby till you get used to the new position. it holds ALL my power i can put to it with the skinny pedal.i do recommend a new throw out arm, throwout bearing, throwout arm pivot ball and flywheel pilot bearing. make sure to properly grease the throwout bearing so it wont bind after time and give yourself a full day to do it. replace everything now so you dont have to take it apart for again for a long while. also make sure to put gasket sealer on the shift tower or the spray will leak out, good time to change fluid too.while in there replace the rear main if you feel it should be done. it took me and a friend with a trannyjack 2 stands and a floor jack 12 hrs from start to finish. im satisfied with the clutch and recommend valair.i suggest having help with this as the tranny is not light, i almost dropped mine on me, had the lift plate angled wrong and it slipped

to check sheared pin you would need to disassemble the axle from the spring perch and pack, you could take a measurement from the center of the front hub to the center of the rear hub and see which is off. my bet is the left will be either closer or further out the the passenger side length. the axle isnt so much pushed out left or right but rather not perpendicular to the frame.

i found using steel battery terminals have more issue with corrosion faulting than the softer orm terminal connectors

one thing is a sheered spring perch alignment pin.

make a BBB report also, i hate this crap.. oh it failed cuz you looked at it wrong or some redonculous excuse that makes it justified.

i like these mech lift pumps, i may pick one up next year and extend the life of my raptor.

is anyone noticing a divide between states laws and the fed laws? states i think are laxing the gun laws, empowering the people while the govt is tightening the noose. just an observation

being that we are all adults in this "family" i feel comfy to add my view on this whole thing.ill start with this:the pieces of the puzzle pertaining to all the mass murders happening are too similar and convenient to ignore. we have young men who have never been in combat, no training, no motive that are armed very well not only with guns but also gear. They have a well planned out tact of carrying out their task at hand and are very successful at it. I know you can get a lot from movies and such, but without training, practice or experience, these tasks can fail without the aforementioned. So how is it that these 20 something young men are carrying out devastating acts of violence out of the blue at just the right time, place and setting. gun free zones aside (we know the story on them) these guys are well funded, trained and armed. The scenes where these killing take place are not random to me, they seem to be picked to get the most attention and pain that can be done.moving on to the bigger picture. foil hats required...history has proven around the world that there is a entity behind the scenes of governments very well hidden, almost invisible to comprehend yet it is the puppeteer pulling the strings to achieve a final goal. The aurora movie shooting, got some headlines but it fizzled (not to make light of it), then you have the oregon shooting, again it fizzled. Now you have 26 dead in an elementary school, most children and holy shipwreck the world turns upside down. They finally got the attention they have been trying for to get guns into the main picture as being the evil doer of these atrocities and attempt to get them removed by none other than the people themselves.Government wont take our guns directly, they aren’t stupid. Instead orchestrate atrocities until you put enough fear into the hearts and minds of the people and they will choose to remove guns on their own. The government sits back and smiles, all the while we remove our own freedoms from ourselves.to understand this theory, understand why guns are the focus.the gun in its fundamental state is a tool proven throughout history to defend and fight against those that mean to do you harm to you, your family, property or freedoms. Without the means to defend yourself from those that want to take from you, be it life, liberty, property or freedom, you are vulnerable to the biddings of those with the power to enforce what they lay on you to follow.if a man has it in his heart to commit mass murder, he will find the means to do so regardless of what is illegal, hard to get, banned, etc etc... A gun is a small lightweight effective tool that executes its task with precision and without prejudice.without these tools we are vulnerable to the atrocities our governments will unleash on us if we dont properly use them and manage them in the right hands of law abiding citizens.without them we are lostwithout them our freedom is gone, forever.

if guns arent the problem then why does the media take anything dealing with guns to such an extreme coverage and nothing else? the government isnt worried about the nation revolting with knives, clubs and arrows... they have guns to curb that. i feel that removing the government from any part in the issue of guns and violence on this scale is not a good idea.

i will agree with you, people in this country have devolved from the family mindset and is just worried about their own. and yes the gun is a convenient easy tool to commit these crimes, and if it were not there it would be sporks eventually as the tool of crime. it is the human nature driven to the breaking point with all the worlds woes and corruption on all levels that is the force behind people snapping (if in fact that is what is happening) fix the conditions of the lives we live in and you will see a change. oppression will drive people to do bad things.

To go along with the argument ISX posted, (and i converse about this with you and the group with respect) I can understand your viewpoint but check this out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_Switzerland check out the section about gun crime. since most have a gun that they openly carry, there are far more knife deaths. but total from all gun and knife deaths in one year there, compared to just any tool used here causing a death in the states is a drop in the ocean. unfortunately my tinfoil hat theory is that these incidents of mass murders are due to the manchurian candidates our government has created to put fear and spontaneous irrational choices to be made by the people out of said fear. the government wants our guns and what better way then to create a real reason, using the tools they dont want us to have, to push us into giving up our rights and freedoms just for security from the very government that made this happen? there are too many convenient similarities to these shootings, too many things just dont add up either. Who goes to an elementary school and does this? our government knows they will never be able to take our guns from us, so instead they will create the fear to push us to give up our guns freely. My feeling is this... With proper training, evaluation of background demmed fit to carry, proving of skills learned, as many of the citizens in this country need to bear arms without fear of reprisal if they are used in a lawful manner to defend against those that cannot for themselves. When people like this driven by whatever motive think about going on a rampage, they will be hard pressed to do it knowing that there are many individuals ready to take them down and he wont know who they are as many conceal their weapon. as we all see that most if not all of these atrocities happen in gun free zones. if an environment has no means of defense, it will be taken advantage of. we as a nation need to stop the empowerment of these idiots from doing what they will and make every environment protected with lethal force. Those children couldnt defend themselves, it is up to us to do that for them. no law or enforcement of law will keep someone from acquiring the tools needed to do as he or she is planning on doing. they are above and beyond the law and they have a means to an end. taking all guns away from everyone will just create a nation of defenseless citizens and be ruled by their government. all the while crime with guns will skyrocket. none of this is written in anger or jest, dont take anything personally

i noticed slightly faster/easier spoolup as its not working hard to suck air through a small filter...because it has so much more surface area the suction has less pull on debris and the filter is much cleaner.

i did mine with advance auto rent-a-tool... i ruined one press by the time i got to installing the last upper balljoint. i broke 1/2" breaker bar and ratchet just working against the boogered threads to get it off.i would highly recommend investing in a proper press with vehicle specific cups as it will ensure things go in right and smoothly. i also put the balljoints on dry ice and heated the knuckles with propane.. still a damn tight fit...

i find the humor in the fact that most people who voted for obama are ignorant to what they voted for or just plain blind and only voted for certain things.
