Were I looking for more turbo; I'd look real serious into a set of "towing twins". You get the quick response of the smaller turbo, followed by the mega-boost once the bigger one once it lights. Down side being that it's a fair bit more $$$$$. IMHO, the stock turbo on the 3rd gen 5.9's is a good turbo. But it limited in its versatility.

If this wasn't so serious, it'd be too funny to believe......................

Went up to a UKC/HRC retriever test up in Horicon, WI yesterday. Twas running 2 dogs: 1 in "started" and the other in "finished". Started is the "basic" test and 4 passes are required for a title. Finished is the "big dog" test and when accruing the passes at started, seasoned and then at finished............or accruing the points required if you skipped the prior, your dog earns the champion title. My little 3.5 legged chocolate lab female dog passed her 4th test at started to earn her STARTED HUNTING RETRIEVER title. My other chocolate lab passed her 4th finished level test to earn her HUNTING RETRIEVER CHAMPION title!!! Here's a picture of the girls with their medals! !

There is no "performance" gain by getting rid of the kitty. It does help make the truck quieter though. When my MBRP muffler goes South, I'm just gonna put in a straight pipe. I think I know what y'all mean by a "drone", but actually I've never heard it. Or if I have, it doesn't bother me. Anyone got a recording???

Approaching almost 71,000 miles on my Cooper Discoverer AT3's in stock size LT265/70 17E. Will be looking at getting replacement for these come Winter time. Should have close to 80,000 miles on these by then. Gonna be looking for sales/rebates. Looking at these for replacement. http://www.treaddepot.com/tire/90000019974.html I truly want to see if I can get better mileage with a slightly taller but narrower tire in my truck. The "stock" size and the size I linked both weigh the same. They get good reviews also. JFYI, this is only 1 of 2 tires that is just slightly narrower, but taller than stock in 17" rim size. The other is a mud style tire. I do not like the wide tall look that the young guys prefer nowadays. Pizza cutters rule!!

Looks good W&F..................but I still have an affection for the "butt-wipe" bypass filters. If I don't use it for the truck, it goes to the "head"!!!

Hey Mike; I've read/skimmed about 60 pages of that old thread now. What I've noticed about it now is that when certain pages are referenced by posters, they don't match with the page I'm reading or the page the poster references. Did our old friendly Moderator buddy over there; BBSpam/BSRam, delete all his posts from that thread???? Remember he was the moderator that was always trying to derail that thread??? Or are the pages organized different now??? Just asking here.

Been a "2 stroker" since '05-'06 (When was that thread started Michael??) in my '04.5 with 225,000 miles on her now. I run 1/2oz. per 1 gallon of diesel..............though I usually just dump 16oz. in the tank when I fuel up because my fill ups average 31-32 gallons.
