  1. My foam has evaporated from the fender as well. I've just been leaving the "gap". I don't have an IAT gauge to monitor the intake air temp. My mileage is, in fact, going up with the warmer weather now. Last 2 tanks have averaged over 21mpg....................hand calculated.
  2. How heavy is your right foot???
  3. You gonna sell that grass after it grows??!!
  4. Here's a pic of my current tank of fuel. I'm loving it!!! And that's 491 miles on the trip meter............not 441!!! I got a tank average of 21.6mpg (hand calculated) on my last tank of fuel.
  5. I know exactly what you mean W&F; since I've been going there sometimes twice per hunting season since '99. Sometimes, I swear, I've brought back several hundred pounds of NoDak road dirt when it's been wet up there. A lot of those gravel roads up there are much smoother than the POS asphalt roads we have down here.
  6. Could someone post some pix on the differences here......................or explain it in small words. Thanks in advance.
  7. I did adjust them all. As I said, some were "loose" and some were "tight". I did the .020 and .010 exhaust and intake for my '04.5. None were crazy loose or crazy tight. Maybe just the fact that I did something to my Cummins made my "rear-end" hyper-sensitive!!! The SOP-meter was pegged!!!
  8. I remember your write up on that John.
  9. Yeah, I know what your saying guys. It's just hard to pull them when the truck is running good and there are no signs of impending doom...........no hard starts, no white smoke on start up, not making oil, still real good mileage. Kinda like; "If it ain't broke fix it until it is!"
  10. Something isn't right here...................................
  11. Fine for what I drive in. They're good in snow, fair in mud, good on gravel, good on dry roads, good on wet roads. They're also quite quiet for an AT tire. They won't make you deaf listening to them sing going down the road.
  12. I have 69,000 on my AT3's in size LT265/70 17E. Should easily get 80,000 out of them.
  13. OK; to kinda go along with the couple posts in the 2nd gen forum about the VP and auto tranny, I'm asking how many miles y'all have on your OEM Common Rail injectors. Mighty Whitey has 223,2xx miles on them as of today.
  14. Same here. The 4th one in your above post is what I do.
  15. Nasal beer spray on the keyboard........................thanks!!!!!

  17. Do you's guys that run Amsoil still have "higher than normal" Fe or Iron in your results?? That seemed to be the norm several years ago for folks running Amsoil...................Just asking, not arguing.
  18. Couldn't you machine a spacer to put in there to take up the space of the narrower TP rolls??? As for the cores/tubes being wider, I've taken 1 or 2 tubes from personally used rolls and split them lengthwise and inserted them into the tube of the fresh roll. You'll probably need to cut about 1/4" lengthwise from each spacer tube for a tight fit.
  19. Mean Green; my old '99, had almost 170,000 on the OEM VP before the folks sold her.
  20. I'm basing my current oil routine based on my former oil routine.................per my truck!!
