  1. I was thinking something very close to that. Probably not isspro gauges though. They're great but a bit spendy. For now just need something to monitor things. I want to start on the injectors tomorrow morning. Any last minute pointers? Any new info I should know? I have read mopar1973man's article on changing them once already. Probably reread it again in the morning over coffee.
  2. That's what I was planning before I started thinking more about a quad. I may just stay on track and start getting gauges once the injectors are in. Baby steps...... The injectors showed up today already! Had to go buy an in/lbs torque wrench and crowsfoot wrenches to do the job tomorrow.
  3. Didn't know that @Mopar1973Man, I thought you had to have a display of some sort up. Hmm, what to do what to do.....lol
  4. If I had a decent place to mount it a small tablet would be great. Like maybe a 7" screen. It'd be easy to see and read at a glance. How does the adrenaline hook up to the phone? Via Bluetooth or USB cord?
  5. @Threadzy, I'm already considering an adrenaline. I want to do gauges to but in weighing options I would get gauges on the adrenaline as well as all the tuning features. Not to mention it would really help take advantage of the new injectors. I have to admit, I am intimidated by how complicated they seem to be. I have never had one but I do read some of the posts about them and it all seems to be over my head. It would be nice to be able to change tunes when going from daily driving to towing or if I just want the extra power for some reason (or no reason for that matter) and maybe an mpg tune with today's fuel prices.
  6. @Mopar1973Man, ohio is only a couple inches away from you on the map.
  7. I finally pulled the trigger. My injectors are stock original as far as I know with 165k on them. Been noticing the idle creeping up a bit more lately, 0% engine load at idle and doesn't feel as crisp as it used to. So, called @dieselautopowerand talked to Jacob, explained what I have, how I use the truck and future plans. After a great conversation placed an order for a set of 7x0.009 VCO injectors. Looking forward to installing them to see the difference.
  8. @Max Tune, if your GPS ever goes cray and you end up on ohio......
  9. The added weight of the rv may result in some tweaks just to keep the power where you want it. Did you get any sort of mpg reading while towing the big text? Kinda curious to see how this works out. I may have to spring for an adrenaline after all.....
  10. Well, front wheel is coming off again. Moved the bike last weekend to find the front tire flat. When I changed tires I had to reuse the old tube since I gouged the new one trying to install it. Must have done the same to this one. I'll pull it off soon and this time it's just going to a shop. I'll have them install a new tube. I don't want to find a flat while we're in Florida next month. Before I try tires again I think I'd like to have a much better mount/dismount system. Tire spoons just don't work well for me. Looked at a tire machine of sorts. It's all manual but it does hold the wheel much better and has protection on the parts that could scratch crome or gouge tubes.
  11. Oh ok, misunderstood your post. Hopefully it don't leak for ya. I don't get why it would push coolant out in the winter though. I'm not real familiar with the Milwaukee 8 motor, they use regular antifreeze?
  12. If it pushed the coolant out will you be able to get that fixed in order to ride this season?
  13. I moved mine out of the garage, front tire was flat. I believe I pinched the tube while putting the tire on. Dam gonna take it off and run it to a shop this time. I don't have the time to do it again.
  14. Welcome! Nice truck! Looks like you've done a couple mods. Lol
  15. Sounds like it's gonna be a great trip.
  16. Very lucky! Glad to hear he was ok.
  17. So I was going throught paperwork in my glove box. Owners manual and the like and came across this document. The manufacturer recommended tire pressure for several situations and configurations. I scanned the documents with my phone and thought I'd post it here since there have been several conversations about this.
  18. Sorry, I missed this post. Cool bike, sucks that it got totaled though. Was your brother ok?
  19. Love the old farmalls! We have a few here. A 1938 A, 1946 and 1947 H, 1948 M also a 1938 Massey Harris 101 and a ford 2n(don't remember the year). I enjoy using them around the farm. Nothing sounds, smells or works like an old tractor!
  20. Nice! Good job bringing it back to life.
  21. Shocks are installed. Seemed to help quite a bit. Still have a slight "choppy" feeling. Not sure I got the top shock mounts tight enough. The top is a stud with the bushings and a nut. A little nub to try to hold the shaft while tightening the nut. I tries a small wrench but I couldn't get the nylok nut to budge anymore. The rubber bushings seem like they should squish a little more.
  22. I liked the V45 magna. Great bike. I had a V65 magna back in the day, another great bike. Very comfortable to ride but fast when you wanted I to be. Loved that bike.
  23. Shocks arrived yesterday. Gonna get them installed maybe today. Weekend at latest.
