  1. Looks like Geno's is having a summer sale on replacement dash pads for 2n gen Dodge trucks. Check out their site.
  2. Mine is factory 3:55 gearing and stock 235/85-16 tires. Haven't checked milage lately but last time I did I was at 17.5 mpg just going to work and back. 21 miles each way with mixed driving conditions. I figure that's as good as it'll get until I get a quad adrenaline.
  3. The W-T ground mod will save money in the long run. Easy to do as well. Just follow the articles.
  4. As far as converting your bumper pull trailer to a fifth wheel: Can it be done? I'm sure it probably could be. Will it be cost effective? I kinda think it may not be. Might be easier and safer to just sell one and buy the type of trailer you want. Or find an old fifth wheel camper and put the box from the trailer you have now onto that frame?
  5. I agree with the above. One question to @Mopar1973Man, is replacing the crossover tubes a must do with the 220k miles? Just curious?
  6. In the last couple videos that new gopro takes great video! Sound is very good also. Great investment!
  7. What are his steering issues? Wondering? Death wobble? Just preventative maintenance? Steering is very important with these 2nd gens, they seem to have a mind of their own for some, for others it's death wobble, maybe touch on some of the different common problems while you go through the steering?
  8. I have thought about a pacbrake in the future. Presently, I tow an 11k fifth wheel occasionally. Maybe 3-5 trips a year. Usually within 125 miles from home, I live in north west Ohio so its mostly flat here. Can't quite justify the expense yet. If I were to start towing the camper further and hills and mountains come into play then it would definitely be on the table.
  9. What's the cost of an exhaust brake compared to 17" wheel and upgrading to 3rd gen ? Curious.
  10. #4 is a problem I'm guessing?
  11. Just one of those days huh?
  12. As far as what filter to use, I installed a Wix brand filter in mine. I also run Wix oil filter to. Need to replace my air filter before long. Thinking BHAF
  13. The driver's seat back looks like it could use a tweak as well. It has that Detroit lean built in. Lol
  14. I have not used the dyna beads in a truck tire yet but I have run them in my motorcycle tires for the past 8 years without trouble.
  15. There is another paint out there for frames called chassis saver. I used it on a '95 chevy rear half. Seemed to work well. I have since sold the truck.
  16. Those older ones with the inline 6 were tough little things.
  17. Thor is a manual Trans to? 6 speed?
  18. I agree with the others. Your in the right place! WELCOME
  19. Bill Gates has been buying agricultural land for some time. Supposedly he owns a very large amount of acreage. He is also one to push the GMO agenda and he is in line with the leftist ways.
  20. I find the death if all those cows very suspicious myself. In conjunction with all the food processing plants and warehouses that have mysteriously burned down and now there's been at least 2 that I know of that have closed their doors due to operating costs. If we can send 40billion to Ukraine why can't we extend financial help to a food plant to feed our own country. Yet some people still don't see the evil at play here?
  21. I'm running stock size 235/85/16 tires, I do have e a lot of open space in the wheel wells. I've tried to load it down enough to squat it but have been unsuccessful so far. Lol
  22. Welcome @DrJekyll86! You have absolutely stumbled into the right place and as far as being new to diesels you have the right one to start with. The 5.9 cummins is probably one of the easiest to work on and affordable compared to some of the newer ones in my opinion. May I suggest reading articles, I learned a lot there. My 2001 in my signature is my first diesel as well and have had fun doing some of the mods and just driving it. I pull an 11k fifth wheel myself, not full time but she pulls without trouble. Also, there is a garage area where you can upload pics of your truck and list mods, repairs or whatever. Again, welcome!
  23. It has hit the $6 mark here also. Still creeping up to I'm afraid.
