Even the non collector examples are pulling big money now. Not sure why but glad I got mine before all this happened! I stole mine for the money I paid.

What shocks are you running and why?
May I ask? What did you do to your back @LorenS? I think I may go with the KYB shocks. I don't want a stiff rude just controlled. I am starting to notice that the front end is a bit "choppy" after a bump in the road which leads me to believe that the shock may be an issue here.

Fuel pressure issue, works but doesn't.
That's good to know.

Bilsteins are one of the most expensive. More of an off road shock I would think but not sure. I don't really do much off roading. Just like to get something that will ride as decent as a 1 ton truck can. I don't expect luxury car smooth just tame it down some. The rear is a bit harsh anyway with those huge springs. Lol Which KYB shocks are toy running? They have some "regular" shocks and some that look like a rancho with a boot on them.

What shocks are you running and why?
@Andyba20, not sure what brand it was. Ordered them from rock auto. @Stanley, I get that if I were running oversize tires or something but I'm on stock tire size and stock steel wheels with covers. Don't really see the need for such an upgrade in my situation. I do also need to get under the front and check the alignment. Just mainly to rule that out. At this point I suspect the shocks and damper more than anything else. I know it's a 3500 but trying to avoid shocks that would make her ride even stiffer than stock for what it's worth. Was looking at Monroe gas charged but RA only has one in stock. Lol on clearence. clearance. Anyone ever use Gabriel shocks?

Track bar was replaced less than 6 months ago. Along with the left outer tie rod end. Others seem to be tight.

I said the same thing. Skip right over spring and go to hot humid for a while then hot and dry for a bit and......winter is back. Ugh

What shocks are you running and why?
I believe it's time for shocks. I've had the death wobble happen a few isolated times and have checked everything. All steering seems tight. Can't feel any play in the ball joints either. So, I'm going to say the shocks could be at least partially to blame. At 21 years old with 165k on them I'm leaning that way. Along with the steering damper. My question is what are you running? Why did you choose them? How are they performing for you? At this point in time I'm thinking of Rancho RS5000's and the Rancho steering damper as well. Thoughts? Comments? Thanks.

Today it was 50° but 20mph breeze made it feel cool. Just glad we don't have any snow like @Mopar1973Man. I would scream!

Found it. It's $1.09/foot and up over here. Still may be worth it to buy a roll or two in the correct sizes and keep it on hand. Fittings as well.

Changed my tires sunday.......ugh
Your welcome. Hope it works as well for you as it did me.

I certainly can. I (could be wrong) thought that brake line had to be made of steel. I was under the impression copper would be to soft of a metal?

We don't have inspections like that here in Ohio but we do have road salt and brine in the winter. That's why I'm thinking stainless steel lines next. The OEM lines had some sort of plastic coating on them but the ends were not Coates which is exactly where it gave way. I cut the coating back some to make room for the flare tool and line nut. Perfectly clean line under the plastic.

Yes, especially with the hydro-boost brakes. I would think line pressure may be more than your average vehicle. Got it all bottoned up. No leaks. Test drive and stopped very well even a few hard stops.

Yes sir, many times. Just need to get a new mini tubing cutter. Mine has seen its better days. Lol Gonna soak the bleeders in PB blaster while I run after parts as well.

Found the problem. Hard line attached to the block of the long flex line to the caliper. For now I will splice in a short section to get by til I get new pre-bent lines.
