  1. Yes it does, I didn't think about that. I believe he has finally hung up the idea of riding. I hope at least, fir his own safety.
  2. Very nice! That would be a comfortable ride! Like the color to! Tried talking my dad into a tri-glide, he thought about it for a little while but I think his back is just to bad to handle it anymore. I see myself on one at some point. I'd like to test ride one sometime, they look very comfortable and stable, be a whole different kind of riding but riding none the less. Thanks for posting it, sweet ride.
  3. That looks like a lot of fun. I used to have a couple honda 3 wheelers way back when I was young. They were a blast! I like the graphics, looks really cool.
  4. If I recall the rear wheel bearing on those vans are pretty easy to do.
  5. I've noticed these "solder seal" wire connectors and wondered if anyone on here have used them and what they think of them. They're the butt connectors with low temp solder inside. No soldering iron needed, just a heat gun. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
  6. Updste***** Installed the Raptor 150 today. Instalation went well despite my big hands in small places. Pump is on along with the 1/2" line from pump to filter housing. I was unable to install the larger line from filter to vp44 because to do so I would have lost the pressure test fitting at the vp44. I needed this to check/set pressure of the new pump. I will be ordering a fuel pressure gauge to mount in cab soon. Then the 1/2" line will go on to the vp44. So far all is well, pressure is rock solid at 18psi. No codes in the OBD2. I also did the lift pump relay to lighten the electrical load from the ecm. Now power to the pump is supplied directly from the battery via 15a fuse and then the relay. Triggered by the original ecm power wire for the pump as explained in the article by @IBMobile. Soooo glad to have her up and running again!
  7. Very well could be a compression issue. Maybe look on ebay for a head for it? I've found a lot of parts for older bikes and such on ebay. Good source for older machines.
  8. Those trikes are nice. Been trying to talk a buddy into one, he has back and leg issues and has trouble holding his 2 wheeler up. His wife won't have it. She says those are for old people. If that's what ya gotta do to ride then do it! If I were him I'd already have one. If she didn't like it then I guess I ride solo.
  9. Just wanted to get the word out that I started a new club in the clubs section of Mopar1973Man.com It is open to all makes and models, on or off road, 4 wheelers and side by sides included. If it takes off we can make changes as it grows for separate sections for street, off road. Open to all members, Check it out!
  10. I'm the proud owner of a mostly original 1977 Honda GL1000 (Goldwing) and a 2008 Harley Davidson FXDWG (Wide Glide) 105TH Anniversary model Number 233 of 2000 built.
  11. I have never been a big Olympics watcher but with all the politics involved now I won't watch. Athletes making their statements on the podium is just plain uncalled for. No better than NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem. If you don't like the country that put your a$$ where your at then leave.
  12. Would that have something to do with the fact that the boost is capped at about 19-20psi from the factory? Anything above that would probably be above it's intended operating range.
  13. Anyone else been following this? Truck drivers in canada have banned together in a record breaking convoy and have now occupied Ottawa. The media has suppressed most of the information on this because they don't want it to get out. lately I've only been getting little bits from tiktok videos. Do a little google search and see what you find. I support the truckers in this and commend them. I could only hope that this becomes a trend to fight the tyranny the goverments of the world are trying to impose on the people. Just thought I'd throw it out there if anyone was not aware.
  14. Then it's your sign. You can use it.
  15. Make yourselves a sign like they use, "controlled burn, don't call 911" and post it when you burn stuff. If it's ol for them why not us?
  16. I think that would be a great idea to calculate those numbers if you could obtain them. I'd love to see the results. For now still patiently waiting for my Raptor to arrive. If we do get the above mentioned info it would be very interesting to see what the outcome is. Still second guessing my purchase at this point. Maybe should have just replaced the fass ddrp with another? I don't know.......ugh
  17. Keep in mind that some are homeless because they choose to he. As strange as that sounds there was a homeless woman in Toledo ohio for years. Everyone knew her as the toledo "bag lady". She passed away several years ago, that's when everyone found out she was nearly millionaire. No reason for her to live like she did, she chose to for whatever reason.
  18. I'd love to see 50° again! So tired of the cold already. Lol
  19. We're under a level 3 snow emergency. If you drive you risk a ticket. Roads are basically closed. Still snowing, got about 8" already and expecting another 8. No work today, probably take tomorrow off to.
  20. I've seen track setups on pick up trucks to. No so much around but online. They really go through the snow!
  21. That is really cool!
  22. How bout one of these?
