Thats because socialism isnt something you can "shove" on a society.  Rather it has to be dished out in such a manner whereby society believes that its for their best interest and/or quietly done behind the scenes otherwise society will revolt and have nothing to do with those very policies which are taking their freedom and prosperity.

That said, liberalism is nothing but entry level socialism, and for Obamacare and all other crappy liberal EPA type actions and taxes to get implemented it has to be pushed upon us using scare tactics and straight up bull crap lies otherwise people would vote against it.  That takes time.....and something done over a generation, not a couple years.

Take highway taxes, school taxes, social service taxes (fire/police).....etc.  How many times have we gone to the polls to vote on such social tax increases because the proposed bill promises our roadways will be better and our schools will be grander and we'll be safer with better police protection and fire crews.  But.....yet those tax monies rarely ever make it to their promised destination.  Although every election cycle we're seemingly voting in more and more of the same ol' taxes totally overlooking the fact that we're already dishing out massive amounts of our hard earned money for those same taxes we voted in last election cycle.

I've learned as I grow older that the biggest problem with humanity is we have a problem with short term memory loss.  And since schools are no longer teaching accurate history.....it seems were doomed to repeat. :smart:

Man this is not an easy subject, truly the more I look into this lost world we live in, the more I think it's going to take a miracle to set us straight. I'm aware that elite has that lined up for us too (for blind ones), but in the end it will more than likely come down to Jesus Christ, as I start to belive it literally more and more, as far fetched as it may seem to some. Trump is no hero, just another puppet on this staged playground. No one can truly be wealthy without screwing a whole lot people at some point in their life, and when you move up the letter you'll have to sell out at some point or move aside for some one that will. There is a simple answer to all this, but most will not see it this way, as television (tell lie vision) does all of the thinking for them. I see more people are doing some extensive research and finding out all kinds of interesting things that they don't teach in school, which is another tool for social programming. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Elites strategy is very simple, devide and concur. The more we're going to fight each other over stupid stuff, the more they are getting away with and pushing new laws that benefit them. Funny thing is that a lot of people are aware of it too but still seem to look the other way and just want to move on with their life. But there are few that do try to make a difference. Time will tell, and one thing that make me smile is no matter how much money some may have at one point they'll have to stop breathing and meet the creator, I'd love to see their face at that time, I'm sure he heard all the excuses.

I voted for Trump for the change he would bring. He was not by any means the choice I wanted but the other choice was going to give it all away. I have the privilege of working for men who have a vested interest in the company suceding. We grew crazily large back in 2000. Hired any body who walked in the door and it damn near broke the company. With the man the took us down that path gone the remaining owners hocked there houses and kept us alive. They took a big hit in pay but kept the rest working. They could have closed the doors and went on to bigger and better things. Then in 08 when everything tanked they kept us going again although this time we all took a hit in pay department.

Just saying this so you know not every one is out for the almighty dollar. True the owners of my company make alot of money but they and I try to bring all that work with us along. We are not successful if they are not.  I see CEO s at companies that dont do good and walk away with small fortunes. That sickens me, they have no skin in the game. At least I feel the men I work for have skin in the game and do care about the people that work with and for them. It is my privilege for me to work for them.

I understand where you are coming from and not trying to take away from it.

I absolutely like Trump.  What he's standing for and the absolute chaos he's creating in Washington is a revolution I thought I'd never experience.  Watching the entitled whiners cry and protest, the unrest elitist squirm, the establishment panic as the gravy train slows, and the Hollywood clowns.....well, act like clowns.  Just the simple fact that they're upset is all the more reason for me to like Trump more and more.

But all that said, I never voted for Trump because I believed he would "save" America.  GOD was very clear in the Bible in saying that we dont need Kings or rulers.  All we need is Him, but if we insist on a ruler then we'd get what we deserve.  What I'm hoping for is Trump to eliminate policies and laws which prevent the people from saving themselves.....with the help of GOD of course. :thumbup2:

I just hope that some of the chaos and change finds a foothold and does not just disappear like some many others who have gone to DC and just ended up blending in. I dont think the DJT is going to disappear that quickly. I have personally been looking for a leader of this earth to come along and make the hard decisions we are all going to have to face in the near future. I might get lucky and miss out on paying the piper but some of you and my children will not. There is a rather large butcher bill that has yet to be paid from 2008. About 15 trillion or more.

@KATOOM, I do not mean to take away from the religious aspects of what you said. While I am not a very religious man, I do believe that we all will have stand tall before God before it is all said and done.

Who do these people sell out to, and who do those people sell out to, etcetera, etcetera?  Is there one person, or a very powerful group at the very top of the ladder and what is the philosophy espoused: Capitalism, socialism, communism or progressivism, because we know the finial agenda is world domination.

These groups are nothing more than useful idiots with their petty self absorbed interests and reasoning,  for they know not what they say.

Regulation on all emission generating items is very important, however it must be proper regulation. There are many agencies that people “dislike/fight” but only because people are resistant to change in their own lives and these changes impact their lives.

One must understand the future impacts when setting standards now, so that implementation is effective but gradual as to not disrupt the forward progress. When people reach a wall they stamp their feet in anger but when reaching a curb they step over with forward progress. Regardless of how you run politically, this thought process should be considered.

I personally don’t agree with the implementation of so smog control items such as egr based on what it does to equipment however greatly support catalytic convertors / dpfs as cleaner air is awesome.

That's my:2cents: and believe what you want but support a healthier place to live for everyone.

Wife is one step closer she got her buy back offer, now to have it notarized sent in and then once they approve it need to make an appt at dealer for inspection for final buy back protocol.

Not a bad deal paid 17500 for car got 1k back from VW when the scandal broke to smooth over the vw customers this just covered the emissions delete i did to it so a wash there and now they will give us 2015 year KBB value when this broke with current mileage of just shy of 22k and they pay off the loan, all said and done wife will walk away with about 16k cash 1500 depreciation for a car we drove for 2 years and put over 60K miles on lol., SUV shopping in overtime mode this weekend now.

Looking things over closer and more searching has narrowed the field to two, Honda CRV she did a very short test drive on but not enough to get a good feel more to see how it felt comfort wise, and the Subaru Forester which the local dealer has on the lot but we have not test driven yet. Has everything she is looking for in her price range.

She got her date finalized on march 7 to turn her Jetta in so crunch time to figure out what she will replace it with.

We had an 06 Subaru Forester that would not get out of our road in snow. It would make it about half way and slide sideways. That car got totaled by a tailgator that was on the phone so we bought a newer Subaru Outback that acts just like a little snow Cat. Goes anywhere almost. So just wanted you to know before you commit.

The Outback is a much better car in how it feels too.

Outback is too small overall for her wants and needs and not going to happen. We are going to test drive the forester on saturday to see, the 2017 is a totally new design so we will see. If Subaru has not changed their seat design or cabin space that will kill it too. I had one my wife had one and my mother in-law has a 2005 outback and I barely fit in the dang thing and is the most uncomfortable car ever and that is for short across town trips, no way in hell i would want to drive it any further, got to shoe horn myself in it. My wife even hates it.

I am talking head room and ease of acess for people and cargo and out not cargo space persa.

looking at the overall dimension specs they are very close. the outback externally is longer and wider which equates to more shoulder room, The ground clearance is the same the headroom is an inch more on forester but overall all other specs are very similar which is surprising as they look so much different parked side by side.....................

Except for the one thing that is the deal maker / breaker, there is not a single outback on the lot under $30K which is what my wife wants to stay at or under no exceptions. The forester we are looking at has heated leather and a moon roof marked @ 28K the closest outback with similar options start at 32-33K. no deal go back to start line lol.

The Honda CRv's we are looking at are loaded up pretty nice or nicer than the subarus and are right at 30K even which even has her shying away from them for that reason alone.
