Tire recommendations

Buddy owns a tire store. Some kind of promo thing and he said he'd sell at cost. He owes me a couple favors so I'm jumping on it. Toyo and Yoko would be a lot more $$$. Thats carry out too. Ill have to mount and balance.

I put a set of 315/75r16 Falken Wildpeak at3w on last year. That size came with 20/32 of tread and I got them from amazon for $180 each. They only have about 3500 miles on them so far but the ride is great and they look great too. I had been running toyos and even a few sets of  nittos before and I like these best so far.

Amazon has 265/70r17 for $160

My 4 years of running back and forth to Ontario I've ran Hankook ATm 235/85 R16 (31.7") and 245/75 R16 (30.5") tires. Excellent winter traction still running 55 MPH in snow. Got at least 60k miles from a set of tires no problem. Now that that has ended I'm might have to revisit my ideas on tires for something a bit more for offroad being this spring I'll be back to cutting firewood again. Excellent fuel economy, low rolling resistance.

Those OBS Ford wheels look awesome on your truck!  They remind me of the old Weld Super Singles I once had.  I wouldn't get rid of them if I were you...they look pretty sweet on the 2nd gen.

Getting dirt commander's mounted

576 for 285/70/17

These are a toyo mt copy

Sorry for all the pics. For some reason new rubber is always exciting.

Well report as miles are put on these.

Stepped down a size from 285-75-17 to 285-70-17

Truck is a 3500 with 2" lift spacers to get rid of the ugly 3500 rake. If anyone's curious

@Evan is one of your new tires supposed to be 265/70/17?  See 4th picture down.  Simple Tire has done me wrong in the past - wrong ply rating was sent.  I ordered the right part number, they sent the wrong thing.

Different tire, I think he was just showing the tread for similarities.

That's the toyo t the tire shop.

Kinda thinking I should have gone with 295s

These are feeling small.

Just adjusted track bar to center trucking axle.  I've been about 3/4" off.

I'd say I'm within a 1/8" now
