Was working in the passenger side of the engine bay and noticed that one of the wires going to/from the PCM had been tapped. With the clamp on type that takes a male spade input. I believe it was the black with orange stripe or vice versa. Anybody know what this might indicate?

Several years ago when I changed my front diff fluid I was pretty sure I over filled and it vented some fluid and pretty much clogged the prefilter on my BAHF. Today while changing my ac compressor I could see that it has vented again. It has been near 4 years since I changed it. What would make it vent fluid now? I have a trail down the inner fender well.

Little background to leading up to this past week. Had the P0237 and P0112 codes with the original ECM. Replaced the MAP Sensor and IAT sensor first. Cleaned the grounds. Still had issues. Hooked it to a snap on code reader and could watch the voltage drop out to the sensors. Ordered an ECM from the number one place on the list here. Installed it. Great for 150 miles. Then got a buck and lost all throttle response. Then it came back, bucked again and then threw the P1689 code for no communication between the ECM and IP. While at the shop they went through everything using insight. Pump was dead. New pump installed. Same issue. No communication. Wiring checks out. B…

Anybody with twin turbos running and oil bypass? I pulled the trigger on an Amsoil kit but I'm running a twin setup so not sure where to get my oil feed. I've heard of people putting a t in the filter housing ports but im worried i will starve a turbo of the needed oil

Is it possible to replace the lower seal on the gearbox where the pitman arm meets it? Its leaking pretty badly on my new-to-me 99 and I am wondering if I need a new gearbox or just a new seal if its possible. Anything helps, thanks!!

Recently bought a 99 Cummins 4wd 5spd, my issue is the truck will get a “dead pedal” while driving. I can cycle the key “fast” or engage an disengage the clutch an regain fueling for 5-10miles and will get the 3 dings an lose the pedal again. From what I see the vp is a reman. I cleaned battery cables and replaced the tps and did a calibration with no fix. The previous owner installed a fass in hopes to fix the issue with no luck also. Truck starts every time no issues. Current codes are: p0216, p0122, p1693, p0222 and also have a code on body: module hardware fault.

Is there any block or port lower than bottom radiator hose? First time I used drain plug in radiator had heck of time getting it back in. So I've been disconnecting lower hose on radiator for years. If there is block drain I'm thinking about screwing in a shut off valve. Good idea or no.

All of a sudden, my clutch pedal stopped snapping back. I also had to go almost all the way to the floor to shift cleanly. I replaced the slave/master cylinder/reservior in a closed, pre-bled unit I bought from Rock Auto. The clutch pedal still behaves mostly the same. What's next?

Has anyone ran a baldwin b50 on a 2nd gen 24v for a oil bypass? Just found a kit locally for super cheap and was wondering if it was worth it. Been doing some research and the info is kind of iffy if the hole size in the filter is too big?

Started the other day and it's been squeaking a bit, I'm assuming the bearings are going out and I'm don't want to pay $100+ for a parts store special. Are the rebuild kits from genos garage good? And how do I tell if I have the denso or Bosch brand alternator? Thanks.

I'll preface my post by committing $200 to anyone whose recommendation solves my issue. This is not my truck in the YouTube video but it accurately depicts what I'm experiencing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xudW4yafWTc Here's some brief maintenance history on my truck: 1. Newly rebuilt tranny 2. Replaced 3 separate TPPS (WELLS, Timbos and Stock) to try solve issue 3. Installed RAPTOR 100GPH lift pump (16PSI at idle, 15PSI highway) 4. Newly installe remanned VP44 pump 5. All battery cables replaced with 2/0 7. Thoroughly cleaned engine block grounds on both sides of the engine 8. ATS signal conditione…

  19. I have a s363/68/12 sxe turbo, 7x.010 injectors, studs, valair dual disc, and v2 tuning. I’m looking for someone with a similar set up who has good dyno numbers and a hot dyno tune to run on the truck along with maybe using it on the street. Thanks in advance.

Real close to 100,000 miles. Wondering if knowing the amount of blow by from slobber tube might be useful as to the health of internal parts at later date. A bench mark number to refer to. Only way I can think of to measure would be to measure amount of blow by raises a water column like a rv propane tester. (Versus an actual psi gauge, that might mess up a gasket, but not sure. ) Any info helpful...thanks.
