I need some help. I have no gauges on my dash except for my tack that works. I have put a new transmission wiring repair kit, I have cleaned all the terminals, I have checked all the wires that I can see and I put a new pcm on it. it will crank and drive but i have to start off in first and to get it started going then I can put it in drive and it will shift on its own. Im about ready to drive it off a cliff. (lol) any suggestions will be much appreciated and at this point I'm willing to try anything.

Got a P1698 this morning. Recently had my ECM repaired by ACS. The truck has been running fine since installing the repaired ECM, and doing the ground mod. Leave for work this morning and the truck is stumbling and billowing white smoke which I know is due to the failing VP44. However, the dash dings, lose all gauges, ABS, brake, Air bag, CEL, low fuel all illuminate. I cycled the truck on and off two times and the gauges were working, but had a CEL light, only codes P1698, P0216. Still able to pull codes with scanner. Drove to work fine. Went to move my truck and no bus again, no gauge cluster, and all lights illuminated. But the truck…

In March the transmission had a no or delayed 1-2 and 2-3 shift condition. The transmission and cooling lines were flushed, the 3-4 accumulator spring, along with the governor solenoid and pressure/temperature transducer replaced. The fluid was changed to Valvoline synthetic +4. The transmission shifted great after the repair. The end of July I go on a 1000 mi "camping trip" pulling my 5th wheel with the boat behind it. I find out that I have no torque convertor lock up! This had happened once before in May of 2018 for about 10 miles. Now, cruising at 60 mph the RPMs are1900±; when accelerating from 60 mph the RPM increase rapidly to 2400-2700 d…

I'm getting this code with no check engine light but the truck does not idle as well as it used to. That is the only symptom. P602 is a programming issue with the ECM. Any ideas?

I am buying an inline mount setup. I am running a aftermarket turbo and am thinking I need to get a shorter outlet on the turbo to make room for the brake. It has six bolts and it comes off the housing. So then I can clamp the brake to the turbo and the downpipe to the brake without hitting the firewall. If anyone has tips or a picture of their setup that would help a lot. Thank you.

Well I had a major case of bad luck this morning. I had truck loaded and trailer hooked up to carry off a load of scrap metal and went out to start the truck while I checked tires and straps. I had brake brake set and a block in front of trailer tires. shut the door and started back to trailer and the d**n park brake let go with truck facing down hill and then the trailer rolled right over the block and truck took off down hill. I tried to catch it but ended up falling and getting run over by back truck tires and trailer tires. I had to lay there and watch my truck roll through a small thicket of brush through the barb wire fence twice and the hit a tree. I couldnt get u…

Hey guys looking for some answers on my 99 24 valve 3500 auto. It has bhaf/industrial injection vp44/and fass 150 with big hose lines and in tank sump all installed at same time about two years ago. Fuel pressure gauge is installed about a foot from ip with shrader valve cracked idk if it’s to close and giving an erratic reading but it will idle steady at about 14 then jump up to 18 while driving then all the way down to 10 then back up so basically it fluctuates up and down while driving between 18-10. Another thing that’s going on. sometimes it has a long start when hot sometimes not. And every day when cruising above 65 it will stop accelerating and only give me 30% th…

  19. I am wanting to start collecting parts for the conversion. So when I need to I can do the conversion. Spending thousands on an automatic rebuild doesn't seem smart. So what do I need? How big of a job is it? Weekend? Which transmission should I look for? I do want overdrive.

  20. I have a few extra parts laying around after upgrading my truck. I was wanting to know how much the stuff would be worth. Some of the parts are 5 speed flywheel, Hx35, 4" downpipe for Hx35, Stock lift pump, MK-10 aftermarket filter, Manifold not cracked(Missing 2 studs as I used them for new manifold), Intake horn, Intake plate, Connector tubes, BD boost fooler. I think there is maybe 1 or so more parts I'm forgetting that I have replaced.
