Forgive me if this has been asked and I can't find it. I am having trouble with my blend knob... Starting at around the 12 o'clock mark, one 'click' to the left and it will freeze you out, one 'click' back to the right and you get roasted out. Very Cold or Very Hot! no 'blend' at all... 2 different controls do this, really always has since I got the truck but I'm getting annoyed by it.

I shouldn’t be doing math this early in the morning, but I was hoping y’all could clear something up for me. @Mopar1973Man has 3.55 gears and replaced the factory size 265/75/16’s with 245/75/16’s giving him an effective ratio of 3.69. I have the same 3.55 gears, but from the factory my truck came with 245/75/16’s. If I were to use the tire/gear calculator and switch to 265/75/16 I would have an effective gear ratio of 3.42. So Mike and I have the same gears, but different effective ratio’s based on?? The sticker on the door jamb? From the factory was it 245, with 265 as an option? If so would that mean if you did the 265 option then your…

  7. My brothers truck has no power to - the radio - the power windows - the door locks - and dome lights he also has no power to his brake lights. Every now and then though he gets them to turn on while driving or moving a connector. Haven't had a chance to go and see what connector he's referring to. My first thought was the IOD fuse but it gets power every now and then. All of those circuits I believe run to the in dash fuse panel. Is there anywhere else that they connect to? 2001 Ram 2500 p24v dually conversion, slight basket case

My Haynes Manuel says I need to pull the fan and fan shroud to remove the water pump. My question is, it looks to me like there is enough room to pull it without removing the fan and shroud. What say you? Tx.

  9. Hello all, I am back again with of course, more problems with my rig I'll try to explain straight to the point and give the quick backstory... Popping noise when turning, thought steering box was bad. Got it replaced along with tie rod ends, end links, etc with a brand new redhead. Drive it home and it happens again and the box is leaking out the top. Take it back to the shop I had the work done at and they replace the redhead with another redhead. No more leaking but the pop came back again literally on the drive home. I go back again and they say the frame is cracked (cracked around the driver hole for front sway bar). They repair it and send me…

I have a canopy. It's a little wider than the bed, stands about 2' above the cab, all corners are rounded about 8" radius. Any idea how much drag as opposed to no canopy? Will I have much more drag with the 22' trailer behind?

I have a 96 Ram, one with the crappy paint job. I'm going to be repainting it soon and have some questions about the plastic trim pieces on top of the cab. Are you able to remove these pieces without breaking them so the can be reused? And if so do they just pull off? Can't find them in the LMC catalog or I would just replace them. Thanks, Bob

My A/C, when left on after I cut the the truck off and restart it, sometimes resumes in the defrost mode and then after moving the truck, it will return to the normal mode for Max Air. It will not return to the Max Air mode by just rotating the dial. Please advise.

Leveling my truck in the next coming few months and looking for some input on the parts I have selected right now. The truck is a 98.5 QCLB 2500 SRW 3.55 gears, it's my daily for the most part and tows a 30' gooseneck with 2 jeeps on the back a couple weekends a month. The most off road it sees is the occasional muddy parking lot at the off road parks. Wheel and tire set up I've chosen is to keep my 17" 3rd gen wheels and pick up some 35x12.5" Toyo AT2's. Looking to avoid running any sort of spacer if I can keep my tires from rubbing the control arms. Here's what I have picked out so far: -Carli 3" lift coils (CJC Offroad) -Bilstein 5100 shocks (CJC Offroad) …

Got totaled years prior Ripped out the batteries with the quadzilla still hooked up and it arched for like 6" or more till I got it high enough it stopped.. so without calling quadzilla do you guys know what's up there? Is it the ecm & wiring harness or one or the other? Where can I find new/remaned TIPMS???? I've been looking for awhile. I'm considering like local auto parts stores but I didn't find any new ones online... So I'm thinking like DORMAN / all those kinds of remanufactures maybe hopefully!!!! But if you have a direct link please post it !!!!! So I've found a few junk yards that say call for a quote on remande…

  16. Hello all, I replaced the clock spring yesterday. And no cruise control with new one installed. On the old clock spring I would get it once in a while. But after install I took for a spin and nothing. No light in dash. Do I need to go in with my Snap On Modus and clear any codes due to disconnecting the air bag? Is didn't find any fuse. Or maybe I over looked it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,John

After my heater core, evaporator, and dash cap install, the blend door would not work. It's stuck in the cooling position. I assumed it was a broken plastic piece at the bottom of the shaft, so I ordered a heatertreater part. Well, the plastic piece is fine. The door is unmovable. The blend door shaft is in position at top and bottom of hvac box - i can see that much. Anyway to rectify this without pulling out the hvac box again. It cost me $70 to have AC recharged and I'd like avoid that. Thanks,Eric

I believe these are called camber wedges the upper ball joint sits in. They do appear to be eccentric. I think I remember the orientation they were in but not 100% sure. Got conflicting info on if camber is even adjustable on my truck (248 model front axle). Is there a direction to face them that is kinda standard or just do what I think they were facing before? I think one was facing gap facing 90* into truck and other side was 90* away from truck. Thanks for any help! Finally putting things back together on a full front end service.
