Seeking reviews on the Isspro EVA mechanical gauges. Going to be receiving a tax refund this year so hopefully I can get me a set. I havnt noticed this line of gauges anywhere but DAP and theyre 3 times cheaper than the ev2s are they still good quality? Obviously the price difference is problably mechanical vs electric.

I am going to try and get a thread going showing all the components on the truck that aren't part of the engine (since I know we have many diagrams throughout the site showing that). I will start with steering and add stuff as I think of it. Here are all the Steering and Suspension components. This is on a 1997 2500 2wd, I will get pics up of 4wd steering components when I get some. Thanks for the help AH64ID! I just got 4wd pics now but I guess there is a 10 pic limit so scroll down to my next post for them.

  5. I have a 96 Ram with an auto tranny. Over time the gear selector has gotten harder and harder to move, I'm assuming it needs to be lubed. If it needs to be lube where are the usual places. I have put some graphic on the plastic pieces in the dash, but that didn't help too much. And what is the best lube to use? Thanks, Bob

Has anyone found a set of fender flares that will work on the rear of a second gen dually?

  8. Started by dave110,

One of my rear speakers quit working. Before I condemn it I would like to make sure it is not something else. I put my meter across the 2 wires and got about .5V. Part of me thinks it should be 12V and part thinks speaker voltage is variable and increases with volume. Which part of me is right? Or am I all wrong?

So, now that I know the module is for the ABS on the truck...I'd really like to hear your thoughts on how well it works before I go through the exercise of finding a way to hook it back up or look for an alternate solution? I remember it was not all that great on my '93 Pontiac compared to more modern versions.

  10. Started by PilotHouse2500,

I'm tearing down the '94 for my street rod project and don't want to throw something away that I need. Now I've never taken a modern vehicle down before and my repairs on them have been 95% plain old maintenance, but what are these items? thanks!

My right headlight started acting up the other day in my 2000 Ram. Left works as it should high, low beam, markers etc. the right however just the marker comes on and I don't believe the bulbs are bad I think I lost my ground. Wondering where the right headlight is grounded

I have purchased the high idle switch and it is due to deliver today. I have also rented a Smarty from DAP to activate the 3 cylinder high idle mode. Just looking for a few pointers on the install. I have read the install article: High Idle Install I know to unhook my batteries prior to install and take my time to ensure I don't bump any other wires that might cause issues down the road. The switch install seems pretty straight forward. My main questions are with the Smarty. What is the process for enabling high idle? Plug in Smarty. Does key need to be on? After plugging in the Smarty I'm lost. Thanks in advance for helping o…

Steering Gear bottom domed cover seems to have cracked and leaks fluid. Truck is 175kms steering gear showed very little wear any reason why this might have happened. Can I get another cover and just replace it or are they matched? Thanks

Hey guys! I’m curious why my wait to start light is coming on with each turn if the key after it has been warmed up and driven 6 miles to work?

  15. I decided to go through the trouble of installing a Momentary switch in the gear select arm. A Momentary switch means that it will only connect the circuit if the button is pressed. As soon as you release the button the circuit closes. IE: Pressing it will complete the Ground and trigger the Torque Converter to Lockup, as soon as you release the button the Torque converter lockup will release. This fixed the issue of forgetting that the switch was on when coming to a stop. I found that in the cases where I wanted to use the lockup switch I was already using my right hand to shift down or disable OD. It was only natural to think that a lockup switch on the Gear Sele…

  16. Started by Ryan Fintel,

I have a 95 12 valve that when I start it occasionally just my back hazards start to flash. The front ones stay off. When I press the brake the back ones stop flashing. The only way I can get the to start is by playing with (turning on and back off) my hazard switch. I was told maybe the hazards switch? Or maybe the brake switch connected to the hazards. Any ideas??
