I have a 02 6 SPD. Has 150hp injectors and boost elbow. Truck runs great but once it hits about 30 psi boost it stops adding fuel, just like a light switch. Do I need a boost fooler? I had a tst at one time and don't remember my truck doing this. Thanks Adam

Ok gentlemen, my 200F dodge stat came in and i swapped it into the truck. This experiment is based on comparisons of the 200F Mopar stat to the 195 Napa one. I decided to take the plunge in this, and will post up pictures later from my phone showing the two T-stats. The Mopar one is definitely looks Cummins to me, and is very beefy to start with. My Mopar one cost roughly 60 bucks out the door at the stealership, im sure one can find one cheaper elsewhere. I'll also grab a part number, but there is another thread somewhere on CF that lists it. Its a 6 series though. I decided that since no one else will play with this monster i should be the first. This is in refere…

I know the smarty and edge stock aren't optimal for top end power but I love the low end grunt the smarty adds. I was wondering if any one was running anything close and what would be good for my set up. I don't think I can adjust the timing since the edge does that. Also I know i can only run the fuel only tunes. I think the TM only boosts throttle sensitivity on my year. I understand what duration does but I don't know if the Comp does that. I am currently running on SW5 and am seeing a little over 18mpg with the comp on 5x5. I'm only one week on my new set up.

Went to install a j-hook tonight and noticed my HY35 has a fair amount of shaft play and some oil residue starting to form inside the turbo. I read awhile back and again tonight that an HX35 will bolt right in, and help with egt's and give up a few more psi in the boost department. It just so happens I have a buddy with an HX35 sitting on a shelf in his garage that he said I could pretty much have, but he said it could probably use a rebuild. He thinks its off a 12v but isnt quite sure, from what I've read the only difference is the number of fins on the impeller, 8 for a 12v 7 for 24? As far as rebuilds go is it worth buying a rebuild kit and doing it yourself or sending…

Stumbled across this today. Is this an updated EZ, it doesn't tap the pump, but the power ratings are higher than the EZ I think. Looks to be a fairly new product. http://www.edgeproducts.com/product.php?pk=164&pvk=494

I need to remove the passenger door panel and adjust the key unlock. It's like it's not quite long enough throw. Just barely unlocks the door and takes a few tries sometimes. What mind of tool is needed to remove the window crank handle? All manual doors and windows.

Can someone explain to me what P0521- Engine oil pressure sensor performance, means in english? As I was leaving work today My check gauges light came on and I had no oil pressure according to the gauge. I pulled over as fast as I could and shut the truck off, after restarting it I had normal oil pressure again, and it was fine the entire way home.

I'm installing a mpg and high idle fooler. My hands are quite big and trying to determine the easest way to make the connection to the ait. Take off the bracket for the dip stick and remove fuel filter? Or find an Aisian woman to help? Lol.

First off I'd like to give a huge shout out to Holiday gas station for their awesome "winter blend" diesel fuel, which actually is more like a gell. While I was getting ready for work this morning, the truck was running in 3cy. mode and started to spudder, by the time I could get out to it, it was to late. So while I'm sitting here waiting for the sun to come up, I decided to poke around the FASS webisite and found a filter cross reference chart for both fuel filter and water separator, and I thought I'd share the info with you all in case you ever find yourself in a bind like I'm in this morning. http://www.fassride.com/shop/replacement-parts/replacement-filters.php#hd_…

hey guys just a quick question i changed fuel filters the other day because it had been about 10000 miles since the last change. the fuel inside was crystallizing and almost snot-like consistency lol anyways, my question here is: which anti-gel? i have read the HFRR testing article on here, i have read other testings, and it looks like opti lube is the way to go, but theres a few different ones that contain anti-gel but my concerns are that it claims to boost cetane which i thought wasnt a good thing? i need an anti-gel to use this winter because last winter i did have 1 instance of gelling with a wind chill of -15, supposed to be worse this year.. pl…

A neighbour of mine is parting out his truck. He has 75 hp dynamite injectors in it and an hx 40 turbo. Should I go for the turbo? I've heard of hybrid turbos, is that a hx 35/40 combo? This turbo stuff goes way over my head.

I am new to the forum and joined due to Mopar1973man presence in many other forums. With that being said I hope I am posting this in the right place. I have a 2001 4x4 quad cab short bed auto that I purchased about 2 years ago with 86k on the clock and appeared completely stock with 3.54 gearing. It now has 114k on the clock with an Airdog 100 with .5" fuel lines running 16 psi idle and I have not seen it drop below 14 psi with throttle and also has a K&N CAI. The VP looks to have been replaced sometime before I purchased as it has a reman sticker on it. The issue I am having is low performance. The truck idles great with no smoke. When driving it seems the engin…

I've got the fooler into the dash and all put back together. Wires coiled under steering wheel. The hole I want to go through, the connectors won't fit through. I've got my fuel pressure line already going through it. It would simplify my life greatly to cut off all 4 connectors, thread it through the firewall and then reconnect the connectors. Do you see any problems with that? How tight are the wire length? Will this cause additional resistence in the wires and mess with the operation of the fooler?

Hey guys, Well I went ahead and bought that used Edge EZ off Kijiji for $150. Put it on Friday night.. and I THINK it was working.. although there definitely wasn't a night and day difference. Ran fine yesterday the couple times I took the truck out.. then tonight, when I was driving my son to soccer, I was braking for a red light and the truck surged for a second on it's own. When the light turned green I went to accelerate and there was no throttle response at all.. it was just idling. I put it in neutral and it started to slowly idle up again on it's own - but still a dead pedal.. at about 2000rpm I put it back in drive.. and pulled off to the side of the roa…
