2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / Performance

Well guys, With a lot of input from you all I got things sorted out a bit on my 2000. First off I installed new KYB mono max shocks on all 4 corners; much better ride! Then came a Lukes link kit on my track bar as well as a PSC steering stabilizer...HUGE difference! Installed my AD 150 with the big line kit between the stock fuel bowl and vp44 and a Draw straw 1 from vulcan . Got rid of my drop in k&n and installed a BHAF amsoil 4510 with a pre-filter. Changed the transmission oil and installed a Fuller eaton filter kit with amsoil synthetic syncromesh 5 w 30 (for less than half the cost of mopar fluid too! ) Also got a great deal on a frantz filter set up thanks to M…

I have 130, 000 miles on the truck in my sig with the stock transmission. The transmission doesn't seem to be slipping, but if I upgrade to 100 hp sticks can I get away with just a converter and valve body from a reputable company like dtt.

Ok so I'm exploring options for s472 sizing, as I've found one that's a 72/96 1.15 non gated housing. If I pair it up with a stock hx35 with 125 or 150hp injectors, would that be a good combo for towing, but more daily-ing than towing. I'm planning on starting a welding business and my welding rig doesn't have a ball so I can go get big sections of pipe or steel, and I've always wanted to put compounds on my truck.

I was wondering what you guys thought about the new quick connect system? It looks like the push lock system is a better deal. Also wondered what thoughts were on hooking the power to alternator or battery? Over all looks like a great system.

Iam new to the diesel world,i read your article on adding 2 stroke oil for every fill up it says a 128:1 ratio,does that mean 128 ounces for every gallon you also said if you fill up 20-25 gallons you would put 20-25 ounces in?Iam a little confused on how much i should add to my tank.

So random question but I have been running napa/wix because I cant find someone that sells fleetguard filters within a hundred mile of me and I dont want to get swindled by shipping charges and the people that think the filter is a 20 dollar unit just so you know I tried finding a Cummins dealer and the one with the half a shot at pulling it off is a cummins npower shop down in oak creek that doesnt sell parts to my knowledge will find out tomorow and keep you posted All the help is apprechiated

My name is Gage I have a 2002 24 valve 5.9 I just replaced the vp44 injection pump fuel filter and in tank fuel pump and I'm getting no power to the fuel pump just needing help trying to figure it out the check engine light is on no fuel is being moved at all we checked the relays and fuses everything seems to be fine please lmk tank you

Pulling the head off my 99 24 valve. Should I just get it decked or should I do some work? Found a guy that can install a big valve kit. Pickup has 170000. Also want to do some injectors and possibly a turbo.... Any suggestions? mountain high performance- for the head workturbo?headstuds-ARPinjectors?Let me know your guys thoughts. Intend on mostly daily driver and occasional pulling a trailer.

Has anyone that you know we made it to the million mile mark with their original injection pump?

Just got off the phone with Casey at edge asking questions about the edge comp.... Im still working out the low boost smoke issue and he told me that levels 1-3 do not utilize the pump tap!! I asked how level 3 makes 80 hp on the comp and the ez only makes 65 hp... He said the comp does it but doesnt use the tap untill level 4 and if i unhook the tap it will function as an ez.. but instead of 20,30,and 65hp it would be 40,60 and 80 hp... This goes against everything ive read about the edge comp.. Im hoping you guys can shed some light on this for me as my conversation with tech support left me more confused lol

I need to remove the passenger door panel and adjust the key unlock. It's like it's not quite long enough throw. Just barely unlocks the door and takes a few tries sometimes. What mind of tool is needed to remove the window crank handle? All manual doors and windows.

my 02 auto with im guessing the HY35. i'd like to rebuild the turbo before it goes out. i've searched on here and another forum but not seen anyone do this.is is better to just buy a remand turbo? will the HX35 or an HX40 bolt right in? i'm not going to up my HP much. maybe some day down the road get some 50-100 injectors or maybe just edge comp. thank you for any input.

I have a 2000 24v with 100hp injectors, edge comp, and a suber B turbo which is 58/65/12cm my every day elevation is 4,500ft. in Utah. and go up to 10,000 ft. i tow between 10,000 to 12,000 lb. when i put the 100hp injectors in. its a little to smokey for my liking. if i switched to the quadzilla. do you guys have some tunes that you would reccomend to help clear the smoke up?

What's your guy's opinon on a evac/system that plums/plugs into the exhaust?Just thinking,,, (like the gassers use) they dont seem to pull hard enought to suck oil out, plus they have a check valve on them. Just thinking out of the box.........

I have a 2002 dodge 2500 6 speed with a edge chip and a fass 150. All of a sudden I am showing 0 boost and getting no throttle pressure and it just pours out black smoke when I give it throttle while driving. Any solutions?

Will the scan gauge mileage functions work when the fuel sending unit is bad?

If the Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 software takes complete control of the vp44, what would happen if I flashed the ecm with my superchips flashpaq programmer and put the quad above level 0? Would anything happen or would the quad still keep it's custom timing and/or fueling? I'm just curious as to what would happen and want to see the difference in timing. It would be neat to have the programmer on level 0 and the quad on anything above that.

Per Connected Automotive Systems there is a Interface with Laptop based S/W that performs and does what the DRB III does. Does anyone have experience with this Emulator? Thanks Leaky

2 part question. I bought a 1999 Dodge 2500 4x4 with an automatic tranny last year. Got it cheap from a dealer since it needed work. In the process of getting it back on road I discovered someone put a lot of money in the truck. I'm trying to figure out roughly what the HP and Torque is at now. Also what the next mods should be. Truck came with Banks Ottomind, high ram, gauges, tranny rebuilt 7 miles before i bought it probably with the cheapest parts possible, rebuilt stock turbo. I added Fast titanium, pressure gauge, BHAF and RV275 injectors not realizing that it had the Ottomind in it. I might be looking at an upgraded…
