Today I was checking the availability of camp sites at Catfish Junction RV Park on their WEB site for the weekend of 8-18-2017 thru 8-22-2017 and found nothing was available. I'm thinking 'is everyone making reservation this far out'? Well no, I called their office and spoke with an extremely pleasant and helpful woman. She said that they have been having problems with that part of their web site and people should call in so they can get up to the minute info. She took my name and already had my phone number, so with no money down I have my site reserved. She said to "just call and cancel if you can't make it". Catfish Junction RV Park 541-262-3833

Hey yall! Since it is somewhat relevant to our trucks, I thought I'd share my vlog post for today about replacing my steering gear box on my '99. It is definitely not meant to be an in-depth DIY tutorial or anything, but thought it might help someone who runs into the same repair in the future. Enjoy (or not )! Mods, if this should be posted somewhere else lemme know!

This last weekend my dad and I picked up a 1992 John Deere 2355 with 3,100 hours on it. Specs: 3.9L 4cyl NA engine that makes 67HP. ROPS with a canopy on top. It was previously owned by the city of Lakewood Parks and Recreation. I was very pleased with how good of shape the body is in and how well maintained it was. When we picked it up it still had honey colored oil, new filters etc. The only thing that was "dirty" was around every grease zerk, likely because it was over-greased. I would prefer that over no grease though! http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/1/3/134-john-deere-2355.html This is the replacement for our two tractors we used to…

So with all the talk with dvm for measuring ac noise and all, I began looking to upgrade from my cheap dmv meters, I'm not really electronically wired, but I can follow step by step instructions when measuring electrical stuff. I have been looking on line at some like a fluke 16 (which is auto ranging) Does that mean they are pretty much plug and play? seen some used ones on ebay for less than 1/2 the price of new. Being that I don't have a lot of experience with them other than measuring battery voltage and continuity testing, its hard to tell what your getting until you get it and start playing with it. I also need one that's sufficient for testing outboar…

Alright gang, We are in the process of making a new Mopar1973man tshirt, but we need to find a good truck image for the front of the shirt. The image should be simplistic, the fewer shadows / reflections etc in the image the better it will be. It should also be a angled image of the truck so the grill and bed is visible. So lets see what you guys have. Post up a picture of your truck and maybe your truck will be featured on the new shirts.

Pine beetle infestation has taken away many of my trees. Spent the day cutting these trees down that are already dead from being attacked. Need to remove them asap so I don't go up in flames if they catch fire. I probably cut 80 down today. Need to get someone to come out with a tractor or something and grapple them to a pile. I was going to make lemonade with this by making log furniture, but limbing them is the worst part, imo.

Are you supposed to always use the wire brush inside the barrel? Seems that the steel wire brush would be a bit harsh on the boring. Do you guys use a brass brush instead? I just ran 15 patches or so thru the barrel till they came out clean in the end and then ran one back and forth with the lube oil. Is that right? Thanks in advance.

so i have lights and radios to power and needed to make my own power distro board. here it is. Took 3 hours to build from raw materials and it has 5 fused relays that will be switch operated along with 3 direct fused power links for my two radios and an accessory if needed. $350 to buy prebuilt but not designed perfect $125 was my cost of materials. it is better in my eyes with how i made it. when i have everything installed ill take pics (this eliminates the rats nest of wires to battery)

I've been meaning to post this up for almost a year now, but never got around to it, so here we are. This is to help any other poor souls that have to pull the injector pump on a M9540 or the like Kubota tractor. Long story short, I had to pull the injector pump on a 2013 M9540 Kubota tractor last year, very straight forward until it came to pulling the gear off. After spending hours at it trying everything imaginable I finally figured out a solution. A 12 valve cummins injector retaining nut is the correct thread pitch to thread in, so then take a M10 nut with a 17mm hex and press it into the threaded side of the injector retaining nut. Then us…
