Banks discrepancy
As for the Pac Brake and Jacobs... I can shed just a little light there... The Jacobs brake is just a butterfly plate with a hole in the plate. As for the Pac Brake they have a butterfly plate with a spring loaded plug in it. So if the drive pressure is excessive the plug opens and allows control of the drive pressure but when the RPM's are lower the plug closes and hold more drive pressure.

Problem with low-beam headlights. Need suggestions.
I don't think its too much juice but a weak connection in the switch that created the hot spot. If you clean it up and get a solid connection the hotspot should go away..

Dead pedal?/delayed throttle response
I've already had a long conversation on the phone with you... But my thoughts of this is the fact the P0122 code is the cause but I'm thinking its wiring issue since the APPS was replaced... Anyone else got any ideas?

where do you buy your fuel
Here in Idaho I try to stick with... Locally - Chevron Boise ID/Ontario OR - Fred Meyers, Maverik, Flying J, Loves Lewiston ID - Flying J or Chevron Now with my local fuel station I know he stays after the pump filters and has a good turn over rate for diesel fuel... There is a few Mom & Pop places around I won't buy fuel there being the pumps are in the weather, old mechanical price wheels, even the tank at one place is about ground and in the weather. The other issue I got I watch the tank vents... Like one place has no weather heads on the vents and always seems to have complaints of water in the fuel come winter time...

idaho ....other states
Your right I would make it a sub forums for sure... ---------- Post added at 07:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:41 AM ---------- More I look at the choices I like the second one because the stats are broken in whole chunks instead of time line which splits many states... Let me get this figured out a bit more and get a plan together for the forums... ---------- Post added at 08:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:52 PM ---------- Ah heck with it I jumped in and just did it... Enjoy guys and gals...

Tubro NOT working, HOT EGT's!!! HELP!!!
AH64ID is right... i would pull the Edge temporarily for a test to see if it effects the performance. If not then the VP44 is most likely shot. If the code comes right back after a short ride without the Edge box then the VP44 is for sure shot... As for the MAP sensor code I would reset the codes while the Edge is out of the truck and see if it returns after a short drive if so then the sensor is bad if not the Edge box is defective.

Tubro NOT working, HOT EGT's!!! HELP!!!
The thing that still got me scratching my head... #1 If you getting hot EGT's typically the exhaust somke is rather black and nasty fron excessive fuel lack of boost. But you got no smoke... #2 There is a error code present so that needs to be looked at it will give a clue to this problem maybe? Your going to need a scan tool to get it. As for cleaning sensors typically people without exhaust brakes never have a issue with this. It the ones with exhaust brakes that coat the sensors in a oily substance... But here is a pic of location...

idaho ....other states
So you guy are requesting separte forum for each state? or split regions (time zones)? If so speak up now... If I see enough Yea's! I'll get busy and plug them in... How say you guys/gals? As when I first delveloped this site I never thought it would take off as good as it has so it the long haul I want to keep it organized but all keep adding things the members desire or suggest for the site because you are the guys/gals that make it happen. So if you requesting a spread of states or regions then lets see how that goes... I'm extremely flexable and willing to create just about anything you guys want for forums etc. There is lots of hidden secrets here on the site already. I'm sure most of you don't even know you can create social gropus of your own and control your own membership in and out of your group? You got to remember this is NOT CF, DB, etc... where they used VB3.8.5 or 3.8.6 software we are the leaders of all the Cummins site with VB4.0.5 software that does have a few issues but still adhead of most of the big name brand sites...

I think Koyote is right... The lugnut is the answer to the mess... Alloy rim use a fairly large lugnut compared to the steel rims...

Mopar1973Man's Crankcase Vent Modification
Look back at the fuel filter side just behind it is a long cover just above cam level. It covers the tappets/push rods. The vent hose will be right around cylinder 5 or 6...

Silencer Ring or Not
What might be the big difference is the air filter steup... Stock airbox will muffle the noise really good... But a BHAF will allow the turbo whistle to come through really good...
