  3. Your right the pic link were old and point to the old address... I'm getting things fixed up... :rolleyesThanks for catching the down links... There are more to be fixed too...
  4. Hmmm... I think its time for me to backup the site again... :smart
  5. Lab Rat!?!? LOL Now thats the way of testing the fuel additive dump some in your Ford Diesel and see if it can choke it down... :smart LOL
  6. Here you go a straight link now... http://www.valvoline.com/products/Outboard%20NMMA%20(BIA)%20Certified%202-Cycle%20Engine%20Oil.pdf Specs... Pour Point -40*C (-40*F) Flash piont 65*C (149*F) This is really good characteristic for 2 cycle oil really close to the value of diesel fuel so its not going to change the diesel fuel values much... But the pour point will help the diesel pour point go low into the winter temps... Here is a TDS sheet on some common #2 diesel fuel. http://www.cenexenergy.com/Downloads/2ULSDSpec_2006.pdf
  7. It's RTV Silcone... Silcone sealant... :rolleyes

You got a PDF copy of that book? :rolleyes
  10. Well it looks like both links failed... But you could cut and paste the information maybe... :rolleyes
  11. Hmmm...I wonder where the high idle came from for your 1st Gen??? :smart :moon Truth be told I got the high idle solenoid from BossHogg over on GLTDR.com. I did a trade with him. Well the solenoid worked but I wasn't to happy with leaving my APPS cover off to run the solenoid. So Taz was wanting to trade so... I reworked the braket and got it mounted on a 1st Gen Cummins. It's completely adjustable and it work like a dream for him.Your welcome Taz... :D
  12. Well the theory has been tested and shown to others... BUt I'm having trouble finding the connectors I need to hook into the sensor and the main wiring harness... If I find the connectors I will have a selectalbe high idle anytime I want... :thumbsup

Yea I got to admit its going up quickly...The pic above was taken about 3-4 days ago in New Meadows when I was passing through. Thank gawd that the mighty Cummins does need to stop at every fueling station you see! Local Fuel price as I've kept records... 8| http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/2002%20Do ... Prices.pdf
  14. Well I got mine pretty much ready for winter... My winter front are under the back seat in the tray so if it does get cold I can bolt then on my grill. http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/2002%20Do ... _front.htm I also got the high idle software flashed to mt ECM so I'll have the high idle when I'm down at MoparsMaidens place this winter. I keep mine in the garage summer and winter but I plug in when the temps are below 35*F so if I get a fire call at night I can fire up and run to the fire shed and do my job. As for engine oil I use the same 15W-40 year round without any ill effects to performance or starting. I'm using Exxon XD-3 which is certified by Cummins for use in the Cummins engines. My coolant is changed every 36K miles regardless of the color or condition of the coolant. Once the winter snow is here I might drop a few pounds of pressure from my tires to get the tire to bit better in the slick road conditions and back country roads when I'm out snowmobiling... Other than that the mighty Cummins will start in any kind of weather regardless of temps! ;)
  15. Well dorkweed... I saw the fitting they had for the Frantz filter I wasn't to happy about using that for a tap. I was worried about long run when it does start to leak would I be able to replace the fitting and the seal without messing up a oil pan for it. That was my only hold back... I was orignally wanting to drain the oil back in the other turbo drain on the back of the block but I couldn't find a good fitting for the hole... Also getting the plug out look to be a real PITA to do... :confused
  16. Just remember don't make my mistakes...I now wishing I would of mounted the filter up-side-down under the truck where you can lay on a creeper and pull the top off and not make a huge mess like might does. When I pull mine off it drains oil all down the inner fender and down on to the frame. If it was hung up-side down there would be just about zero mess... It would drian completely in the lid and if you had any dripping you can catch it in a pan or bucket...I know the lady that sells the filters. She is in Nampa, Idaho. She sells a awesome product. I would take the time and call her... :thumbsup
  17. Not that I know of... I don't know of many fuel products that do much for water.
  18. Yes it can... Here is photos of my setup... When you do the oil cap mod make sure you take your time and file down the old tab in side the cap. Also make sure you drill the hole center to the cap... Also your going to need a small die grinder to file those tabs back... I didn't... So basically I got to redo my oil cap some day... It weeps oil just a bit. As for installing the filter you might thing about mounting it under the fender up-side-down (in the front behind the bumper) so when you change the filter it won't drip all over you and make a huge mess like might does currently... Here is my write up on it... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/personal/2002/frantz-filter/frantz-filter.htm
  19. I'm truely sorry... It was quite the headache getting the security updates done on the site. There was a change in the text templates and how passwords where read from the text box. It would lock use out from the ADMIN area and then it would keep everyone from posting too... After reading a thread over at phpBB I found out that my custom template for the site was being updated and it was hanging up the update. :Mad Trust me I was doing it too... I though for sure I lost a big chunk of forum information and memberships. '
  20. Hmmm... Kind of like me... Last time I had my beast out fo a run... 383 CID with a 4 BBL. 727 Automatic trans... This thing got lot of power and grunt. It would be a good challenge for the Cummins... LOL
  21. Well I'm still working hard at getting this site up to snuff...Now there is a few new toys...[left:17m3ko95]LEFT TEXT[/left:17m3ko95][center:17m3ko95]CENTER TEXT[/center:17m3ko95][right:17m3ko95]RIGHT TEXT[/right:17m3ko95]Horizontal Rule[hr:17m3ko95][/hr:17m3ko95]Buttons are up on the top of the text window now... :thumbsup
  22. Well the update was really needed. It had several security fixes to protect the site from hackers and information thieves. As I did the update it seem that my theme was the hang up on the update. There was some changes in the way the system read the password information that you typed in. Well this problem is now fixed and we are in high gear again and moving down the information highway again...I did learn a few things... Make more that one backup and keep you backups current. It really does help on the stress factor... :smart

I guess I'm going to have to post up a link for the manuals I've got huh??? :rolleyes
  24. Well gang...I'm still hard at work here with the web site. I've got a new function coming really soon. I need to work out a few bugs but there will be a classified ads area for selling products, posting ads, or wanted ads looking for things... I might allow the public to post ads as well...It going to cover both Dodge stuff and computer parts too. So be patient and the new classified ads will be up very soon... :thumbsup
