  1. It's really not that hard just time consuming. All you got to do is start doing it.
  2. I guess I always had vco and never had a problem with them, and people say they run cleaner, but that would probably depend on tuning too. Although at idle ecm is in control of fuel and mine are smoke free, but then again I don't know if it's vco or slightly higher pop pressure. Depends on who built injectors too, some of them just pure dirty no matter what you do.
  3. I wold suggest vco, but it's just me.
  4. Quad Cities Now, moved here few years ago wife got a job. We used to live in Cedar Rapids before. I don't want to be found , not enough time to even sleep anymore. Didn't even celebrated my last b-day.
  5. No lol. They are not perfect by any means and I only kept the main brackets ones. You can easily make some out of cardboard pretty fast just start cutting, you may change things as you go anyway, my final brackets were slightly different anyway. That pattern is kind of for an idea more less. You have way more skills then I do and a nice shop looks like, these things I keep for a weird reasons and don't really want to get rid off. Sorry
  6. I think they change design of that seal that causes fuel to go in the motor. My guess is they put a mechanical seal on.
  7. One of the pictures you could see my OBA, my rear bumper acts as a tank.
  8. Yeah I just read through that TSB, not sure if I believe everything in there either. So looks like you actually have to go counter-clockwise with the spanner wrench 9mm why not 8 or 10, what's so special about 9. And why backwards, you think you'll want to tighten it not loosen it, unless it's backwards thread.
  9. Clockwise on allen head screw, if that didn't help your gearbox is completely junk which is hard to believe if it's not leaking oil everywhere. From what I've read they say you shouldn't really go pass half a turn without adjusting something else I can't remember what it's called. If nothing changed after one turn I'd been looking elsewhere, like track bar.
  10. I believe last year there was a hurricane that one of its bands made it far enough to make it rain in Iowa for few days. Feel bad for coast people but they are all aware where they live, no different that Hawaii with lava on streets.
  11. I can't remember now, I think one seat came out with center console and the other by it self. Had some pictures someplace but can't find them now
  12. Mine came out separate, back seat just flips up. I think it's sound proofing stuff, it's thick and had all the moisture in it rotting away floor. I didn't notice much diference in sound, but that's just me.
  13. Just how long do these fuel bosses last
  14. I took my carpet out, power washed it and hung it on the fence to dry. I also ripped all the padding off of it. Then I sand blasted my floor and painted it 3 times. I also did put about a foot of hose on that nipple outside the cab and zip-tied it to my brake line.
  15. What about g56, just looking for options for future lol
  16. You probably had the older version with smaller input shaft, 01 and newer I believe is 1 3/8 where before they were 1 1/14
  17. If it can handle 840 ft/lb of torque then how much nv5600 can handle, I'm pretty sure I'm close to 1000 on my truck or so it feels that way
  18. @Blueox01 you got some talent and patience, someday when I catch up with life and kids will have a life of their own, I'd like to move out in the country and start living the life myself.
  19. Nice, projects like this make me want to keep my pile forever.
  20. Easy way to remember lip, usually with a spring all the way around, goes towards the oil.
  21. Nice, how many speeds is it. How did you put a hole and piston, got it too hot. How hot is hot and how long you held it there.
