  1. The only place I ever used seafoam in is stabilizing gasoline for storage, boat, mower, etc, instead of using stabil. Seen some bad reviews on staible, quit using a years ago along with WD-40, switch to PB blast.
  2. I'm removing this comment as those that cared already looked at it. Too much craziness going on , I don't want to mislead anyone. If someone has other evidence please share, I don't like trusting a single source of information, need to see things from different perspectives

  4. All good advice above. Wish you would have got a timbo apps, even though you may not needed. If I would have researched mechanical lift pumps more before I got a fass I would have went with that. Not that fass Isn't doing the job, i just have my reasons for it. If you do go mechanical it would be nice to have another spin on filter, something like fass and air dog come with. You won't fry VP with edge, it's the lack of fuel pressure, ac noise and poor lubricity that kills them.
  5. I think people are starting to see the big picture, not all but definitely more than few years ago. Just look at Gates pages people are telling him how it is to the point they are shutting them down or making it private, that's a good sign for us average guys. I'm starting to regain hope in humanity, still a lot of misinformation there, need good discernment to weed through bs, but still we are seeing a bigger part of this crazy puzzle.
  6. Yhea I hear you it's never easy for things like that. But it's only material things and I've learned over time that it's not what life is about. It does suck when it happens though. We've been through 3 houses in last 10 years and every one I thought we were staying for a long time, me being the way I am, I tried to rebuilt/fix all I could, losing sleep, doing best I can, then life changed and we sell for average price. More than half the stuff i did did not matter for price it was more for my piece of mind. So yhea I hear you, but I think you'll be alright and move on. Important things survived that all that matters. Wish you best of luck.
  7. Sorry for all your troubles, hopefully you'll come out on better end of it. Good thing you had insurance and it looks like they will take care of you.
  8. What's crazy it's all been planned ahead a long time ago. How do we battle something like that. This brings up a Bible verse, that's we wrestle not against flesh and blood...
  9. Unless we the people see the big picture and do something about it, it'll never get back to normal.
  10. Along with bunch other, they can all have some ice cream, so I can go fishing... They are all starting to piss me off, all our plans for our fishing trip are falling apart. Man work hard all year to do few little things he enjoys in life and these cockroaches just won't go away.
  11. Don't feel obligated just our experience, back in the day I had a shitty experience there but it was almost 10 years ago and I believe who I delt with doesn't work there any longer. Since then I bought a few things there with good luck and good support. This goes for any company, some are not around anymore because of it and others are still screwing people.
  12. They are all reman no new available from what we know and if there was a new old stock I would not want it as its not upgraded. I would buy from DAP as they treat us good here and good prices too.
  13. I wouldn't pay more than a $100 more for a used vp then what they charge for a core, unless you seen it run and it has no problems. You can gamble, but most that sell a used vp have no clue of how to take care of one, so probably had a hard life.
  14. I feel at times we fail at certain things as parents, but then again all new generations to come think that previous ones were dinasors. Three is a line in send that needs to be drawn though to all this nonsense.
  15. It's all about solder they used back then when EPA said no more lead in solder, so they came up with some, but with time it would crystallize and lose connection or so I heard. Plus if you have weak grounds and high ac noise from alternator, that will fry electronics. That's why we recommend wt mod for everyone and others to go with.
  16. Psg is computer on top of vp, some tried replacing the trans istor and had luck, personally if that's what it is ideal get a new vp. There are videos on YouTube on how to fix psg.
  17. Yhea I remember you telling this story before, I'm sure he's just being funny and inside is wishing you would wear our another Cummins before he has to gid that big hole.
  18. Try dumping cold water on top of vp to cool it off after the drive and see if it helps, if it does the psg is tost.
  19. Wow, what a read, thanks you educated diesel nuts, I need a beer now... I don't think I'll survive well in this new thanshuman future of ours, way too much data, just need fishing, alcohol and sigars why can't I just do that... I'm sorry I get lost way too easy
  20. I heard mixed reviews about them a while back, hopefully they got better over the years.
  21. That's why I don't think I can afford to ever sell my pile, too invested in it, need to put few hundred thousand miles without brake down, then I'll probably just give it to my kid and say here you go good luck....
