  1. As long as you guys can see passed my humor. I never intend to be an a$$.
  2. I was thinking about running a hose to the cab so I can diagnose exhaust smell ;)
  3. I'd just Hammerite it with a rattle can.
  4. I've got new injectors that were pop tested.
  5. I'm assuming I'll need valve seals. Any way to do it without removing head or injectors? If I could figure out where tdc is for each cylinder valves should not fall in. Lol. #6 hard to do?
  6. Didnt see any corrosion. I think it was a bad crimp on the thermostat. Sad for a $75 unit. You'd expect more.
  7. That looks like a Frantz bypass filter return line to me.
  8. Worst part of a mom trying to rub a kid about how old he's getting is the reality that she's even older. 20 years or so typically.
  9. When I had duals, I'd just go where I bought tires and have them air them up. Whatever it took, who cares.
  10. Right on! I use led for landscapes, but even though more expensive by 2-3 times as traditional...installation time less, no maintenance for 10 years, smaller wire and transformer demand. Less electricity too. I think led is a viable use here.
  11. Camping world has the extenders. There is only one positive about a dually. Extra stability and carrying capacity. The rest is negative. Never again for me. I never rotated tires. Just run em till bald and flat across.
  12. Know anyone with a smarty? They can flash you. Post your location and see if anyone is local.
  13. Get rid of the banjo bolts too. Eric can set you up!
  14. I just bought stuff to do my own chimney cleaning. My main stoves pipe had very little buildup. Wood we are burning just doesn't create much creosote. No gooy stuff. Just a little flakey. Doing it myself helps with knowing how often it should be done. We've paid to have it cleaned before. We have a metal roof, so I did it from inside. Have a slide section to remove pipe that's inside the house.
  15. And since the seller usually pays for the realtor fees, you get professional representation for no cost. Can't go wrong there. Unless you want to look at FSBO, then you'd need to enter into an agreement for service.
  16. Yeah, the article calls for "K" ohm resisters. So a 68,000 would work, not 68.
  17. The butyl tape we're talking about is the stuff that's used on rv's and is generally grey. It's used under transitions to accessories and corners of the RV. I was told by support at EPDM coatings to run a strip between the new and old seam of rubber roof. Smash it down good and then coat over it. Worked good. It comes in a roll with paper between the layers of the roll.
  18. We cleaned our stove pipes and have had 2 fires. I come home from work wet and need dry heat to get warm and dry. Our lowest temps have been 43*, but we've had some highs only in the 50's. Gets down to high 50's in the house at that point. Only takes a couple hour fire to get us toast warm. We only use 3 or so cords here.
  19. Bad grounds won't cause ac. Separate issue. That's 0.10 threshold, not 10.0. You won't need to recalibrate the TPS unless you're offline for 30 mins or so. But recalibrate is so simple, you might as well.
  20. I think your work around shows that the alternator is throwing A/C noise. Not good for other components like ECM, pcm. Check for AC as suggested above. I went out and got a digital VOM. I was having trouble too. But eliminated the alternator. Mine was bad ground connections. Clean your battery cables to start with. That's a cheap fix. Most of us have been there!
  21. 47re has a one piece case. No bell housing.
  22. If anyone has or knows of parts to do the swap, let me know. Bell housing sounds like a tough one to find. Unless you want to spend $700 for a new one.
