Weird fuel system happenings?
I have a mechanical gauge. I'll read the archives for brake line as I recal as the preferred cab line.

Weird fuel system happenings?
I stopped off at the auto parts store and got a tester gauge. Seems that my gauge or isolator is faulty. Gauge said 15 tester said 35. So I've been turning up the pressure to compensate for the pilar gauge. Throttled it back to 20 psi on the tester. Seems pretty consistent with tester. How do I figure out which direction to go now ? Gauge or isolator? Maybe I should do the needle valve mod and run diesel into the gauge on the pillar? When you need to bleed the system do you close the needle vavle entirely to keep from getting air into the tubing to the gauge?

Weird fuel system happenings?
My fuel pressure has been doing weird things. Running 8psi cold (42*) and gradually gets higher as outside temp and engine temps come up. But overall it's been falling. Running 15psi warm. I kicked up the pressure to 15 cold and now goes up to 22psi warm. A better range. But a month ago it was low consistent and I raised it back up. Sound like a raptor issue? I also have a vibration/buzz coming through my cab gauge. Isspro with snubber from vulcan. It quiets down if I pull it out a half inch or so. The gauge has a vibration that you can feel if you pull it clear out of the pillar. I don't have a test gauge. I'll check with a few locals to see if they have one.

Quad cab door leak
It looks like the front door seals have shrunk. The from seal over-laps the rear door seal. I slid the from seal back about 3". Don't think the front door seal being short in front will be a problem. No moisture in the headliner or pillar. Don't think it's the 3rd brake light.

Dexter EZ-Flex Installed
Do the two side bushings not receive near as much wear as the center one does? I notice that only the center of your upgraded unit has bearings.

Quad cab door leak
My rear doors both leak onto the rear seat. Is there a fix besides replacing the seals on the cab?

Possible lift pump fix teaser
Is the above link the price you pay or are you saying you get them way cheaper than that?

Get the book, eating right for your type. Blood type diet. It works. Wild game, deer, elk, etc are great lean meat. Pepperoni made from deer is awesome too. Lol.

Everyone knows that self employed people are rich. Just ask the Dem's.

Cheap, do it yourself exhaust
Is there a system or composite of components that I can cut and install onto my stock 3" piping and using clamps rather than welding? More noise is acceptable, but cab drone at hiway speeds not too obnoxious.

Quieter 2nd Gen.
Has there been any advances in injector quietness over the ears for VP pump style injectors? In the same topic, do tuners that adjust timing help with engine noise?

Vacuum pump - Rebuild time!
Mine might not be the killer anyway. 2001.5.

Vacuum pump - Rebuild time!
Ya but, what about the VP? If you're doing the KDP at the same time, same answer?

Bad Oil Leak
This forum is a huge help when considering farming out repair. Having people here who are willing to quote book time for jobs is a great reality check before you authorize the job. Not much you can do afterwards.

16% grade
Last year somebody told me there weren't any 16% grades around. This one is in West Linn Oregon between a residential area and the commercial strip. This is one street why I would like to have the front axle disconnect kit installed so that I could use low range when pulling a 12 to 15,000 pound trailer. If I had a manual transmission, I might be fine.

Injector nozzles?
Was that the only difference between the HO and the SO? Now that I'm thinking about it, I bet different turbo too.

Injector nozzles?
I saw somebody post a question about injector nozzles. It would seem that the more you can atomize the fuel when it comes out of the injector the better. I am looking at the Bosch 40 horse or 50 horse injectors. Are the nozzles on these injectors adequate? What increase in hp are the 275 injectors? Not sure what the nomenclature of 275 means here. Is there a reason to save your old injectors? Can they be brought back to life with pop testing and new nozzles?

Need help with new 60hp injectors from DAP
Yeah, I imagine that hooking up the exhaust brake backwards would make it run poorly.

Cost to have injectors installed?
Where's the best place to get new bosch 40-50 horse injectors? Are they match tested?
