Well... umm.... I don't know. I thought maybe we would get lucky and just be a vac line off... But I guess after rereading your text again I see that isn't going to be the problem. I'm leaning towards a ECM problem since it worked before the change, now it doesn't work. Sure feels right but that doesn't mean that it is.

Check it. Forgot yours is a 2002 without the CAD unit. Also does your vents only blow through the defrost?

Have you checked your vacuum line off the vac pump? Does your 4wd work?

Tranny/clutch/flywheel/ect.
I've been running it since 10/15/09 at 215,775 miles. I now have around 230,600ish and it is working good so far! As far as fifth gear, I've not had the problem yet but you never know. If I ever do have the problem I'll figure out a way to afford the Torque King b/c I don't like things breaking!!

Pac Brake Tight
You might try soaking it in acetone and ATF if you can't get it to free up with normal methods. PB Blaster works good too!

Starter contact write up
Looks good man! I did mine a while back with a kit from Gould Gear and Electric. Pete is awesome to deal with and always gives me great deals!!!! Some of my pictures: Someone replaced one of the contacts with a new stock on a while back it looks like!

Boost gauge tubing
I didn't know Napa sold that line, but now I do if I ever need it!!

J-Hook
Just be careful not to over spool the HY and pop it. It runs out of its map at about 33-34 psi, the HX about 35-36 psi!

Tranny/clutch/flywheel/ect.
The biggest problem with the NV4500 is fifth gear falling off. The Torque King shaft is built to prevent/ fix this problem. Other than that it just depends on how it was treated. If it was drove right and not abused then I wouldn't worry about it. I really like my Valair Kevlar/Ceramic single disc and got a good deal from Dan at Valair!:thumbup2:As far as fluid goes, I'm running Royal Purple myself. It can be found at just about any auto parts store and cost about $15 a quart!!!

Fuel Pressure
Have you checked your wiring? Make sure there isn't a ground problem and make sure the power wires are hooked up well. If you are loosing power the pump is going to slow down making less PSI.

slick looking injectors!!
Those look pretty, but like Mike said, no one will ever know. A after about a mile of use they won't be clean anymore!!!

washer fluid pump
Yeah I would think a junkyard or a parts store would have one for you.

To Many Miles to party?
Well right now I've got 230k and I'm not worried one bit about adding performance parts. I take good care of my truck and treat it right. But when I want to play, I do!!:thumbup2:Planning to add twins down the road along with a possible p-pump. I'll leave the internals along expect with valve springs, head studs, pushrods, and cam!

How do you adjust the doors?
If the doors are sagging you're going to have to replace the bushings and pins.

Mght check out your wires and connectors. It is work fine before the ECM change?

Replacing Control Arms?
Did you just support the truck with jack stands and the axle with a jack? I've got both a torch and an impact gun that I plan to use. So hopefully that will make it a little easier. Do you happen to remember what size the zerts are? The 90* ones sound like a good and would be cheap to make maintenance easier. --- Update to the previous post... Also one more question, where do you have you caster eccentric set at? Plus I just went out and sprayed some PB Blaster on the bolts. Good tip, for some reason just slipped my mind!

New tires!!!
Yep that sounds like the right place!! I will say they take a while getting used to them. Backing up takes a little bit of practice since the passenger mirror is flat and you see different!!! The ones I got for $180 are heated and power! I guess heated, that's what they say, too warm to tell!
-
New tires!!!
Those are the exact ones I got. Just remember to order the brackets too. I think the guy I got them from was Stevewiseauto or something like that on Ebay.
-
New tires!!!
Yep you are looking at them. Mine are power and heated. At least they say they are heated, I haven't tried them yet to see for sure!
-
New tires!!!
I ordered them off Ebay from AM-Autoparts.com. They cost $180 shipped and bought the brackets for $30 from another guy on Ebay. Then bought all new door panel pins from Napa for like $20!! I reccomend you do that before you start. They weren't too hard to install, just make sure your don't pinch the wires and as always, extra hands help!
-
New tires!!!
Yeah I need to do that. Probably won't happen this year though due to the cold coming and painting outside isn't much fun!!:banghead: What I really want is a cowl induction hood for it!!!!!! --- Update to the previous post... Just got my tow mirrors installed!!!!!

Is jkidd still alive!!
I agree 100% that he needs to become more readily available for his customers. I try not to let any of mine go longer than a few hours before I respond. That keeps me and them in order and happy!
