  1. One local shop hooked up their $10,000 snap-on tool and that was the only tool that can read the codes besides the dealer. Unless their is a specific tool for just ABS or Mopar ABS, you need to shell out some big money. Gotta love it
  2. Vegas Rat Rods (Weld Her Up) did a couple 4bt projects that were cool. Twin turbo, p-pumped
  3. I just put some oem TYCs from RockAuto and some NAPA super bright bulbs and I love it. Looks clean and the NAPA lights at night are great! Although, high beams are terrible and you don't have the long distance clarity that regular beams have at night.
  4. Good to know, thanks. Did Mopar beef up the boots (more plys) for higher boost? When I replaced my boots and clamps I went with Vulcan VPMax boots and clamps, which is rated for 100psi and are a 5 ply silicone design, for right around $200. They were definitely thicker and stiffer than stock.
  5. What choice do we have? We have to choose the lesser of evils...at least this go around the GOP candidates are publicly displaying conservative values. Like you said, whether or not they keep their word. The only thing an independent will do is draw conservative votes and elect a liberal. The Fed is too big for anyone to break the mold. Our country would have to go through a revolution before a truly worthy candidate made it to office. We are so built on government programs that this country will never fully change without something drastic
  6. Measuring in the middle of the tire? I have about 25,000 miles on my at3s and I'm guessing I won't get 15,000 more out of them, maybe not even 10,000 The middles are worn more than the edges and I run anywhere from 55-65 psi.
  7. I still haven't figured out if he truly believes in socialism, or if he's a muslim and wants the downfall of the US. Either way, he wants the the current laws and beliefs in the USA changed or abolished...I hate that man with all my heart and mind.
  8. 2-4mph. At lowers speeds its close, maybe 2 mph off. At 70 mph on the dash, my gps says 74
  9. Rub it in...now that I'm back in Massachusetts, I don't miss those New England winters one bit. Is it spring yet?
  10. SAC vs VCO make that much difference? Still a 7 hole. Contact point inside the injector is different. SAC allow more flow of fuel?
  11. Hmmmm. Thanks guys. In my never ending lust for power and economy and modifying the Dodge, I wouldn't do anything till next year, just debating what to do. I really like the features of the Quad and the extra power and more aggressive fueling. And now with the super b, I'm debating a different programmer or some larger SAC injectors for fun. My current 7x.09 VCO (100hp) are clean and powerful, but I'm tempted to try 125 or 150 SACs and see how the current setup reacts in regards to temps, power, economy and smoke. I'm the first one in my family to mess with vehicles and I love learning all about them and how with proper modifications, they become awesome and fun to drive!
  12. Now that the Dodge is not my daily driver, I love working on it on the weekends. I am about to buy some land back in Massachusetts in the woods and build my first house! This will take up most of time as soon as we purchase the land, and then I'll GC the house! -shooting on occasion -hiking with the goldens -basketball and weight lifting -anything outside/hands on related, cutting/splitting wood, landscaping, construction -spending time with my family, really close nit family Did some surveying/wetland diliniation and some deep holes for the septic this weekend...the Dodge was there And ripping out rotten/moldy wood in the rental house and killing mold
  13. So is Smarty a fueling module? I know you can stack the comp and smarty, but smarty doesn't say much in their description other than timing and catcher and catcher only.
  14. I feel foolish spending $1000 at the dealer. I've heard horror stories about sending them off to be rebuilt and then not working and end up going to the dealer anyways. I hope this works!!!

  16. I put mine right after the transmission for easy access.
  17. Heck, if money is there, might as well get some rv275s for a little boost in everything, I think they about $400. Then you can keep your stock injectors, pay no core charge and get more power and fuel economy. Again, it would be an extra $300. Or, send your cores in and pay $325 total, see link. http://dieselautopower.com/diesel-auto-power-50hp-performance-injectors-7x0-008-vco-vp7x8vco/
  18. Ooops sorry. 30" length, 5"
  19. Ditto. I put plow prep coils in the front and it lifted it about an 1" or so. Front is little stiffer but not noticeably.
  20. This is tempting...
