Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Teaching my boy well! Hopefully I didn't teach him how to shell a VP Good luck @Me78569! I'm not done with you yet though There's always something brewing.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
So the quad is touching it while the tps is at 0. That would explain the hard knocking I was telling you about. Maybe you need to make sure the quad doesn't touch the truck when tps is 0 and speed <35 (or whatever cruise can be set at)

Just took a chance on buying a 2001 to replace work rig
Pictures pictures pictures!!! That'll help us help you. Does the pump still have the "void warranty if removed" sticker over the injection pump plug?

Fuel Line Upgrade Question 2001 Cummins
Yes, it comes with the 1/2in lines. You'll have to add a draw straw or something to that effect for sucking out of the tank as well. It's an expensive setup, but killing your injection pump is very expensive. Oh and welcome to the forum!

Fuel Line Upgrade Question 2001 Cummins
I would say stuff a fass 150 on it with 1/2in lines and call it a day.

Teardown and Rebuild
He does very good work!!! Well the 215 pump I found ended up having a stuck rack. If @jlbayes would reply I would know whether it would be worth going after or not If not I've got another 215 pump lined up for 900 or a 180 pump for 700. Decisions Decisions.

Teardown and Rebuild
I think the hardest part is getting the dang thing mounted to the truck. Figuring out how to run everything else doesn't seem bad. I'll have to look up some parts for the AFC live stuff.

Teardown and Rebuild
Alright @Me78569 I hid the stuff in the other thread so we don't clutter up his stuff. So from what I gather AFC live controls two things. 1: How much boost reaches the AFC. 2: How fast boost going into the AFC ramps up. Let's see if we can come up with something! Oh the H1000, have you seen the thread on CF? It'll be pretty cool when he's done.

The crf450ish random question thread.
Now I know why I'm leaving this game

The crf450ish random question thread.
Wait... wtf? It'll run on 3 cylinders on basically no fuel?
-
The crf450ish random question thread.
But an engine can't run on that little of fuel??
-
The crf450ish random question thread.
@Me78569 What's going on here.... I'm confused because no matter what the quad is set to it reads egts. It shouldn't change based on warm up mode or level selection.
-
The crf450ish random question thread.
Okay, the first two lines.... was the truck running on 6 cylinders or 3?

The crf450ish random question thread.
Your probe must be reading from the front 3 instead of the back 3....

White smoke
It doesn't need to be warm to do injectors! Run the engine until it gets to about 140*, then swap everything! It'll keep your hands warm while working on it and it'll start much easier than it would bone cold. I've done a LOT of parking lot injector changes

Jacob's Ppump thread: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-24v-p-pump-conversion/699129-p-pump.html Guy near me keeps raising prices, so I'll be looking elsewhere for parts.

Then you would know I'm not tuning it with a screwdriver

AFC live.... basically a quad for the Ppump. Look it up!

Teardown and Rebuild
For me it's whiskey O'clock!! They want money, they're mean, they never put down the power you want, and you love them to death! Just keep em laying around. That's what I do! Unless @Me78569 steals your smarty....

Teardown and Rebuild
It and the NP271 were a pain to swap, but at least I don't have to worry about them for a while! My soul feels great right now thanks to Crown Royal. Those Canadians sure know how to brew a smooth whiskey! Yes, this truck tends to drive me to drink

Teardown and Rebuild
That means you need to buy both of my quad boxes, smarty, and TST! Mine is still alive, it just got out of balance after changing U joints. Then a month later I had to have it shortened for the G56.

Teardown and Rebuild
I have come to hate drivelines If I every have any U joint issues it's going to the shop for the joint and to be balanced every time. Congrats on retiring soon! I think you should start a thread called: "Trevor copying Tyler's build thread"

Teardown and Rebuild
The only parts in the drivetrain left are the front / rear diff, springs, control arms, and steering box. Everything else has been rebuilt or replaced. HOPEFULLY this pump will alleviate some issues. Currently still in school but I'll be full time come May! HP is a sickness... once you start going up it's very hard to stop. You have more than gotten your money out of yours though. If I were at 400K I'd be worried about the drivetrain getting a bit loose. Anytime you're in the Denver area let me know! I've got a week off for spring break starting the 25th and I plan on having the swap done in less than a week, then I'll bug @jlbayes about tuning it until he's sick of me.

Teardown and Rebuild
let's just say between working for Lockheed Martin and purchasing a business with my brother I'm doing better than I was before! Besides, I love my big blue turd.... and it hates me.... so I give it money to make it love me back!
