  1. Just as Mike said, it helps lubricate, so it definitely doesn't hurt! It will actually improve mileage a bit as well. I'd do the same as us VP guys and go 128:1 or 1oz of oil per 1 gallon of diesel.
  2. I'm going to do my fronts when these wear out. I'm not going to worry about the backs though.
  3. Did you guys buy the same clutch? Those things don't even look close.
  4. http://dieselautopower.com/1998-2002-dodge-cummins-5-9l-24v-performance-damper/ I personally wouldn't waste the time on it. And there's no way in heck I'd run electric or no fans. It gets way too hot here when pulling huge loads.
  5. I don't think there is physically enough room to fit a belt between the fluidampr and the fan to run a belt..... Not to mention the pulley is wider than the belt.
  6. He can't because of the mechanical lift pump. OP yes, you should replace it. An OEM replacement should be just fine!
  7. It's dark my friend.... WHERE ARE THE PICTURES!?!?!?!?
  8. Like in the steering? I sure as heck hope not it's new. The ball on the track bar looked fine as well. It might be shot after getting wacked in the wreck. It was like really loose, but I shimmed it up and tightened as tight as I could. Really wasn't planning on it but looks like the DOR track bar might be in my future. You guys have any thoughts on the vibration I posted on the previous page?
  9. Well the axle is moving side to side somehow. The steering wheel was in a different location when I was driving straight this morning and it looked to me like the tire was sticking out further past the mud flap on the drivers side. This came after I was turning the wheel back and forth this morning while sitting. Either the hole in on the axle is wallowed out (I don't think so) or the Luke's link is moving somehow. I won't have any help to find out until thanksgiving though.
  10. Thanks for the confidence! Now if I could just find time to work on the dang thing! I just put these wheels on. They've been sitting in the barn since summer, so there is nothing wrong with them. I know the axle is shifted to the driver side a bit from the leveling kit, but it wasn't wobbling before so it's got to be something else. Ideally I'd like to adjust the steering box a bit and take it in for an alignment.
  11. No. I checked out all of that stuff. I think the wobble is something from the wreck though.
  12. Yes. It's weird... when I'm on the throttle or off the throttle the vibration goes away. If I throw it in neutral it's pretty bad though. Driveline?? It also tried to death wobble again
  13. Some had a tapered hole and some had a straight through hole. You just never know!
  14. I'd do around 30. You won't hurt anything.
  15. It can be. You don't really know until you yank the front cover off.
  16. -15* F with a blocked radiator and mine is up to 190 in 15 min of driving. That's weird W&F. I do put something between the intercooler and radiator though so there's literally zero flow through it.
  17. Mine doesn't move unless it's up to 100*. Thanks to the 3cyl idle that doesn't take much time. I have my reasons though!
  18. Rick Fox make over 3,000 ft-lbs on a stockish looking intake horn John, I used a Cummins ISB book.
  19. We all know the limit is the vp's fuel output. Ppumps have proven the head can flow enough air for more power.
  20. No the owner was crying about it. Trust me I wanted to give her hell! Nick, lets go buy a dyno. We could make so much money around here!
  21. Nick might be able to help with that. I live the manual life!
  22. I would assume a new button. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Ram-1500-2500-3500-Dakota-Transmission-Lever-Overdrive-Button-Switch-OEM-/201284585462?hash=item2edd7f07f6:g:WpwAAOSwrklU2uR-&vxp=mtr
  23. 7 smarty 9 TST. Broke 400hp at 58mph (4th) and grew from there. I was trying to keep the soot out of their shop so I didn't floor it until it was too late. 7x0.013 are coming......
