  1. With that pump as long as the shut down lever was in the up position it will run. Are you sure you are getting substaintail fuel out of the injector lines? It should sqirt quite well if you had enough fuel. Do you smell any raw fuel at the exhaust after you crank it?
  2. I have never seen any fuse like that. If the solenoid lifts then the electrical is functioning. The only other thing is fuel. When you cracked the lines at the AD did you get any air? Next try cracking the banjo bolt on the P7100 and see if you get fuel out there. If you do it will still take a little bit of cranking to fire up.
  3. Guess I mis understood your post. Sorry. Yes, the springs are very similar.
  4. Why are you planning to pull a 6.7 and put in a 5.9?
  5. I managed to amputate part of my left thumb on a table saw. In the ER all they did was use novocain to numb it (that hurt worse that cutting it) clean the end up (it still had about a half inch of skin holding it) and flop it back on and put nine stiches in it. Yea, one of those would have saved my thumb...... That was about 12 years ago and it still has feeling problems (I have a hard time picking things up with it) and it gets cold real quick.
  6. I got ya beat!! Me and my wife dated for about the same time, lived together for a year and a half, then got married 27 years ago! We have out lasted MANY marriges, Bill!
  7. Not to my knowledge. It is actually somewhat abrasive, but oil is designed to keep small particles in suspension so they get carried away when you drop the oil out. That is why you can take a sample of oil and see how your engine is doing internally. Also the particles are so fine they are completely surrounded by oil. The oil itself does not wear out but the additives get depleted and the particulate amount is the main reason to drain it.
  8. I learned that lesson about 14 years ago. My daughter way laying in intensive care in a coma after having a major stroke at the age of 24 years old. She even died twice and was brought back. During that time another guy was brought into the ICU following a small plane crash (he was a test pilot). Unfortunately he did not make it. My daughter is still with us and has given me and my wife three grand kids. I learned that no matter how bad you think you have it just look around (you won't need to look far) and you will find someone who has it worse than you.
  9. Be glad you aren't here. We would be real happy with a low of 13*. Shoot, we would be happy with a HIGH of that!
  10. Those symptoms are classic torque converter slipping symptoms. You have more torque coming out of the engine than what the converter can hold. If you continue to allow it to slip you are going to shred the lining in it and the fibers will go throiugh the transmission and plug things up resulting in a failed transmission.
  11. The only reason it barks like that that I can come up with it when it goes into O/D it shifts so quick and is so solid the engine RPM drops and the load changes real quick. When I am towing I just lock out O/D and get up to about 2200 RPM or so in 3rd, let off the throttle and reach over and hit the button. Then I just ease back in to it and go like I want.
  12. I wish it was a trust. Nope. Just a chunk of land with four owners and no way to subdivide properly since there is one house on it along with a well and septic. Back to the topic, my nephew just finally got his divoce finalized. He had been trying to get it done for five years, but she kept screwing with the proceedings.
  13. Sounds like it, but you will see it in your pressure gauge too. Mine will bark bad if I allow it to shift into O/D at 15 psi. Under 10 PSI or wide open it won't bark.
  14. Give us a bit more info. When specifically does it shudder? If you let out of it when it shudders does it quit then come back when you get on it? What else does it do? Do you know what your torque converter is rated at for torque and what is your truck putting out?
  15. Good luck with that. Not trying to shoot you down, but my MIL's property was top stay in the family too, but GREED got in the way and long story shor there is a court order ordering the sale of the property and this has been going on for about the last 4 YEARS! My MIL passed away 14 years ago.
  16. Like I said, I do think they are a good idea AS LONG AS there is no mandate to have them. From what I understand, the reason a lot of Russian drivers have them is because of the way they drive and for protection against insurance fraud.
  17. There are times when a video will help, but there are times when a video will hurt. I think they are a good idea, but I don't want to have them mandated by either my insurance company or the government. A lot of people don't realize it but there are 'black boxes' in most if not all newer cars but they don't record video.
  18. Me too! I even have a functional 8 track player and a few tapes yet!
  19. That is so you can play your music from your phone, ipod, or even your computer if you want.
  20. If it still pulls to the right something is wrong. The problem with the specs on these trucks is that they are so broad that the truck may be 'within specs' but still not drive right. This site has specs that seem to work well for your truck: http://dodgeram.org/tech/specs/00_steer_specs.html Be sure to read the discussion below the specs as it tells you why to set it where he says.
  21. I know the feeling of long drawn out legal issues too. My mother in law passed away about 14 years ago and her estate is still not settled. We owe an attourney about $37,000 and it is still ongoing. Unfortunately that is what happens when one out of four tries to grab everything for themselves. In the long run it has probably cost me about $65,000. Families are fun...........
  22. Um,fracking brings up natural gas and propane is a by product of refining oil. Two different substances.
  23. I said deer. Even insurance companies say to hit the animal and not swerve no matter what due to the fact that you may loose control and cross the center line and injure or cause the death of another person OR go off the road and hit a tree, culvert, rocks, etc. An animal will almost always do less damage due to the fact it is mobile and will absorb some of the impact. It may total a semi, but how much worse is it roll a truck, spill the load, and possibly cause additional crashes just to keep from hitting a wild animal?
