  1. I have a good one from mac tools and any that have hung up, all they needed was a good hit with a bfh
  2. Light bulb could be burned out
  3. Whats your ambient temps?
  4. I trust mine and thats why I went to college was to try to change the perception of people who work on vehicles. Always remember there is a difference between a mechanic and a technician. Now on your situation, I dont know how he got the slide pin bolts in. Whenever i do any, everything has to be perfectly aligned for the bolts to start
  5. Take it to a radiator shop and see if they can fix the tubes. Might depend on how bad it is
  6. So many things it can be, i have seen the impeller broke off on a water pump andcthe vanes completly gone. They are also well known for cracked heads. Can also be head gasket. Best thing to do is put a pressure tester on the system and see if you are getting cylinder pressure in. Also can do a vapor test on the cooling system
  7. This isnt good. If you read the epa's statement, it says anything that modifys stock tuning is illegal. The epa is going to start throwing their typical 3 year old child fit until the government does something. This will mean fines for anybody that doesnt have a stock pickup. Hello 1970 muscle cars.
  8. There is so many things that can cause death woble its scary. And one fix for one pickup can be diffrent on another
  9. Take thrm both off. Its going to be way easier and you can make sure everything lines up. The only problem i had was the last two pumps, the o-ring was slightly bigger than the old one so it was a pain to get into the groove
  10. I could see the o-ring going bad, have seen many connector tube o-rings crack or flatten and they dont move
  11. You most likely broke up the crud that was keeping it sealed. Kinda like syn. oil causing oil leaks on high mileage vehicles
  12. Thats the thing, these all happened months later. I dont understand it, I know its probably a band-aid fix but it has worked for almost a year on the one pickup I did it on
  13. I just did mine last week. That stuff is in the garbage, it was completly filled with oil. My gasket had three major cracks alobg the bottom and a 1/4" chunk missing out of the top
  14. My 02 did this same exact thing. I finally figued out I somehow was building vacuum in my fuel system. Next time it does it, go back and open the fuel cap and listen for a wooshing sound or leave your cap loose. If it were injectors, I believe it woould happen more often
  15. Cut the red wire of the raptor wiring that runs to the stock lift pump connector http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-performance-parts-discussion/619526-fass-keeps-running-after-priming.html
  16. Good money but heard its like the wild west with theifs and crooks
  17. Correct it can enable stuff like I said but it wont hurt anything. He must not know what he has
  18. Drbs are expensive like mike said. If he has one it either doesnt work right or is hot. You will be able to read codes, read values, adjust some user options and thats about it. And you can do abs codes which is a plus. But most of the main stuff you can do with a $20 code reader for your phone. I have used the drb thousands of times and they are nice but you have to have the updates and ability to hook into chrysler to get their full potential. I personally use my cheap obd2 reader at home now.
  19. Wire the pump to the wiper fuse first. Eliminate an easy fix
  20. Wire it to the wiper fuse and the pump shuts off during cranking getting rid of the hard starts
  21. Did you try wiring the trigger wire of your raptor to the wiper fuse. It has fixed many hard starts for me lately
  22. Genosgarage is awesome too
