  4. Check voltage at the grid heaters themselves.
  5. Does your WTS light come on? How are your batteries and battery connections?
  6. It will have good ice through most of march. The night time temps are well below freezing and last weeks warm weather isn't the norm.
  7. No limit on this particular lake. The DWR is trying to thin the perch and they ask that people don't catch and release.
  8. I'm not sure it is legal here either and I don't think I have it in me to try it even though I know how thick it is. No bites? That's ruff, but it's still fishing and not working.
  9. We took our annual pilgrimage to central Utah to Fish Lake. It was awesome. The weather was great, in the 50's and we got out share. Our first day there, we caught 100+ perch and filleted them that night. They ended up as our lunches for the next couple of days on the ice. Fried perch on the ice...it doesn't get any better. The ice was 20" thick, I tried to convince my brother in law to drive his truck out on it...but he didn't want to.
  10. Great photo. Where is it?
  11. Alright, no turning back now!!! I was at 121777 when I filled up tonight. How many of those miles are since the rebuild.
  12. If someone were to change out their heater core, wouldn't it be best to flush the coolant before changing the heater core? Wouldn't that help prevent contaminating a new core?
  13. I'm sure mine is plugged but I don't look forward to pulling the dash to see what it looks like.
  14. For prices like that he needs to get a fuel pressure gauge so he can catch another disaster before it happens.
  15. Doesn't sound like the right battle to fight. If mamma wants new curtains, she gets new curtains. Happy wife, happy life.
  16. That is foul. Those port a johns are nasty. In Afghanistan and Iraq they were full of flies and as soon as you opened the door they would swarm at you landing all over your body. Really makes you want to puke when you think about what they are covered in, as they live in those things . That image brings back bad memories.
  17. You mentioned casting boolits a while ago on this form. I never had any desire to get into that, but after you mentioned it I started watching YouTube videos and I'm interested. I've got to come up with the cash to get some things to get started. I'll pick your brain, CSM, when I get to that point.
  18. I've read most of this before. Every manual gives recipes for .451 and .452. Some say .452 is just for cast bullets and .451 is for jacketed or plated bullets. Not sure what is the most correct or if it even matters.
  19. Ha, my dad knows more than everybody...just ask him. . He's a great guy, but you can't tell him anything. Once his mind is made up.
  20. There are a few of you on this site that reload. I'm no expert and I am still learning a lot. I've been reloading .45ACP for a while and I'm trying to get your thoughts on bullets. I'm not casting my, I buy them. On the shelf I can buy them in .451 or .452. I've read all over the interwebs and through all of my manuals. I've reloaded both and shot both and I haven't noticed any difference. For anyone in the know, what are your thoughts, cautions, or concerns (if any) with using .452 projectiles?
  21. I'm glad I never dabbled with the K&N. My dad has a K&N on his '93 Cummins and I can't convince him to get rid of it.
  22. No foolin'. I'll end up getting a loan from a guy named Vinny who has an office in a shady restaurant.
  23. There will have to be a new thread of how I am going to pay for a new vehicle first.
