oil pan removal on my 2001
I would imagine that you would have to raise the motor and to do that the trans would have to be removed. But, I am just assuming that is what you would have to do.

Having an RV is almost a needed item now a days.....
It is easy to be pessimistic about how the country/world is running. But I refuse to think that it is all bad. There are so many great things happening in the world and more great people than you can imagine. The crazy and shocking stories will always capture attention and media, but the countless kind acts that happen everyday will continue to go unnoticed. Scripture prophesies of the craziness that we are seeing. We are told of wars, earthquake and other disasters. But the promise to the righteous is, has been, and always will be peace and happiness. The second coming is called the "Great and Dreadful" day for a reason. For some it will be great and welcomed, others maybe not so much. I cannot control what others think or do, but I can control my actions. We are told to "Choose ye this day whom ye will serve..." As for me and my house we have chosen and will continue to do our best to be obedient to God's commandments and to follow His son. I am certain that as we continue to do our best we will be happy and have joy in life.

Finally.
I've had them for a few years and they are great. It is nice to have them custom fit to your truck. I did bust one side as I was backing up a trailer last year. I was backing a trailer into a tight spot and while I didn't hit the trailer with my bumper I did bend the flap clamp on my rock tamer. It only cost me $11 to replace that part.

Notes from the wilderness!!!
This was my day. My son and I processed about 18 chickens. We ended up with about 90 lbs of meat that we put in the freezer. My wife and I figured that between the cost of the birds and feed this harvest cost us about $1.45 a pound. Not too bad for a days work. On a side note, I am a proud dad. My 12 year old son was in charge of the killing, scalding, plucking, and chopping off the legs. I was impressed at how capable he was and never needed my help, in fact, I struggled to keep up with him.

My SON!!!!!
Well there goes the money for the truck!! Congrats, your children will make you a better person.

Notes from the wilderness!!!
I'd be happy to hook you up with some of these. I have an incubator in the house with 11 eggs that should hatch in 2 weeks. I should be starting another incubator full this weekend as the one is becoming available. I bought mine last year from Metzer Farms in southern California. They just put them in the mail. I barely feed them as they eat weeds and LOVE dandelions. I keep water available for them all day. They are very little work.

2 Birds? Nope, there were 5 there that weren't happy. The females have always been pretty calm and stand-offish, but yesterday was the first time that they have actually bit me. They are definitely a gregarious animal. Those chicks are protected by the flock and not just momma. It has been so fun to watch.

Flooded out.
I am sorry to see this. I can't imagine that feeling of watching your home/property get flooded like this. Keep up the hope and I am hoping that you and your family is safe. God Bless.

Having an RV is almost a needed item now a days.....
It is a fine line, I agree. I hold to the bible as well, but I accept that not everyone believes as I do. I don't agree with *** marriage, but I don't feel that these marriages infringe on my right nor does it force their beliefs on me. I also don't believe that God approves of this, but there are plenty of things in which I need to improve that I don't have time to worry about the sins of others. My hands are full here! When Christ walked the earth He didn't shun the sinner, he spent time with them and showed them that He loved them and cared for them. That doesn't mean that he condoned their actions. Sounds like a good example for me to follow. But to each their own. It is up to us to make up our minds, what a wonderful gift that we have; agency.

NV4500 finally died...
Sorry, I meant the gauge itself. I was wondering where you would mount that. Your cab is already pretty filled up isn't it?

Just out of curiosity, where are you going to mount it?

Notes from the wilderness!!!
I hate keep posting pictures of my silly birds. All 9 eggs that were under Mother Goose in the barn hatched. I am still amazed that that many made it. In my wife's incubator in her classroom so far she has 4 of the 9 that have hatched. Her kids in her classroom have had a ball with it.

FASS regulator with Fuel Boss
I have a Fuel Boss, and I am using the bypass valve that it came with it. My pressure doesn't fluctuate, it is very steady. What are you seeing? What type of gauge? are you using a snubber or needle valve? The only time I see my gauge bouncing around is when my needle valve is open too far.

Notes from the wilderness!!!
That one is an American Buff. They are a pretty calm breed, except for the breeding season. Her boy friend will come after you and my sons are pretty afraid of him. She is really calm with me, but doesn't like anyone else in there with her. But since she started laying I have been going in there and checking/candling her eggs. It amazes me how these animals instinctively know how to incubate their eggs and care for their young. I can sit out there for hours watching the animals that I have and I am amazed at their personalities and abilities. To me, it is all proof of a loving God and I thank Him each day for His creations.

Notes from the wilderness!!!
I got home last night and went out to check on the goose and her eggs and this is what I found. By the end of the night she had three of them that had hatched.
