  1. Why would you change the vp if it's still working? Before I learned what I did here about fuel pressure I was driving around with near 0 psi. When the lift pump crater'd all together I drove it an hour home and it was bucking the whole way and sometimes only had power to go about 40. That was almost 2 years ago and my vp hasn't missed a beat yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I hit 35 while towing. Didn't know there might be something to worry about there so I didn't worry! I checked my drive pressure doing that and it's still only 1:1 so I might try playing with my waste gate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yup thanks Mike. This is great info!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I got a rebuilt from GoEcm a year ago and no issues so far. Were great people to deal with too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have stock injectors and could make 40 psi before i put in the boost elbow. Not sure why other than my mileage is quite a bit lower:shrug:
  6. I just heard of using ATF as lube in the fuel. Any thoughts on doing this?
  7. The torc will not lock up in 1st or 2nd with the stock valve body. There are aftermarket valve bodies available that will allow this tho. I'm saving my money to get one. I do some towing where it would be very handy to have.
  8. I think it's coming due shortly. When I bought the car last August I checked into that and it had been done at the correct time. I will sure check into it.
  9. Thanks George. I did a pretty thorough heater core flush and that improved the problem immensely. Not totally happy with it yet so I might look into your ideas.
  10. I have one too and love it. It's really nice for towing. I always make sure it's off when it's going to shift just to prevent those broken parts:lol:
  11. I farm some land and run cows with my Dad. We run a custom silage operation in the summer and in winter I usually find a job running dozer doing oil field construction. I hear what you're saying Jonathan. Ever heard of, or been to a seminar on stockmanship by Bud Williams? I've been to a couple and it's made a huge difference in how we handle our cattle.
  12. How is this upgrade different from what my 2000 has on it?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Has anybody watched this? http://www.powerupusa.net/videos.htm I had an oportunity to test different oils on this machine one time and had a sample of 5w40 Amsoil i think it was. Sad to say it faired worse than some more common, cheaper oils.
  14. Thanks guysSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. My friend is trouble shooting a problem on his truck and is wanting to try my ecm. His is a 2001 with a 6spd. Will mine work on his truck? If they're not compatible and I did do it could something be damaged? Thanks.
  16. Donaldson is what I run. Not getting any complaints.
  17. I can tell you that that stuff is bad for the soil health!! I'm mostly a cattle farmer so we don't use a lot of chemical but I've been learning in recent years how awful all the chemicals really are. I didn't take it personal, just wondered a little more precisely what you were refering to! Glad you have good help there Mike. Been there done that with wet carpets and all that goes with it. Not fun!
  18. How are they on gravel roads? That's what I mostly drive. My Toyo M/T's are done at 25k miles:ahhh:
  19. Sorry to hijack here but I'd like to see some of these facts. I'm a farmer and I'd like to see what we're doing that's causing so much pollution.
  20. Ok ISX you've got me too curious now not to ask:whistle:
  21. Mr.mindless has a 13sp if I err not. He's got a write up on it too I think. Maybe he can come clarify.
  22. You hit the nail on the head:thumb1: Besides I don't believe God is pleased when we abuse our bodies.
  23. Glad you got it figured out:thumb1:
  24. What do you guys think of these http://www.portageandmainboilers.com/gasification.html? I just wish they made them as an indoor stove besides the outdoor style.
