Going to 4" tailpipe versus 3?
3" isn't a restriction on a stockish truck.

Towing EGT's
those egt's are nothing to worry about. If you don't have a boost elbow and a boost fooler you might consider it. that will give you a bit more air / or a tuner that does boost fooling.

DEAD PEDAL! HELP!
no you either have an ecm issue, short issue, or sensor issue. too many issues on the 5v bus to not be.

Suggestion for Quadzilla
Dunno, the app I uploaded in my last post is the one with the fix. I tested your situation and the fix worked.

DEAD PEDAL! HELP!
Could be a short in the 5v wires to ground, or it could be a sensor that is internally shorted. I would clear codes and unplug each sensor one at time and see if the codes come back or not. Similar issue when my oil pressure sensor shorted

Curious I am going to go test this. My situtation ( truck power turning off while in the tune load process) should result in the same results, but maybe not. @Mopar1973Man I went out and tested my test again, and the issue cropped up, this made me suspecious that something was uploaded wrong to the site, I went back tot he beta site "hockeyapp" downloaded the apk again, loaded it and repeated the test. After "updating" the app the issue is gone. I can do exactly what you are saying and the tune load bar goes away and the quadzilla disconnects and waits for reconnection. Try this apk, rather than the site Apk I think the APK we have in the downloads section is mixed up, or the app updated to a prior version Iquad.apk

@Mopar1973Man so if you follow the steps in my testing the result is the quadzilla never reconnects?

Suggestion for Quadzilla
My app reconnected after prolonged cranking. It took a full cycle to reconnect, but it did work without having to fuss with the phone. To test I 1. disabled the girds 2. waited to crank until I saw the tune load progress 3. started cranking for no less than 10 seconds. 4. app disconnected 5 truck started 6. app reconnected and the tune load bar came up.

We tried to keep the tuning as simple as possible while still allowing users to have enough control to make their trucks run how they want. at some point I am going to do more videos, but I need time for that.

It is much less complex than EFI live. You can spend as much time as you like tuning, but the meat of it is pretty basic. we have a number of prebuilt tunes, and you can alter just the fueling section to fit your needs. You set how much % of stock duration you want from 0 psi to 30 psi. Then you set how much timing you want at 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm, 3000 rpm, and max. Then you set how much timing you want to pull, advance based on load and condition. In terms of a vp truck I think it is the best bet for most. UDC pro technically has more in depth tuning, but it is limited by the system to only %12 duration increase over stock, and you need to tune all of the maps completly AKA much more complex. have you watched the tuning video?

@Greenlee Consider all of this Beta and wish list stuff. the public release stuff is stable and he won't really have to worry about it. You are seeing the typical development process of an application that is normally not in public view. The Quadzilla however is very community driven. I understand what mike is talking about, but if you select a tune then just hit back 2x to go back to the gauges you see the tune load bar.

quad v2 wiretap settings
That data would have to be added Via Json file on a Per Profile setup. remember there are chevy , dodge, ford trucks that use the iquad app there are vp truck and common rail trucks etc... This means a complete update to the json structure that is posted, then you would have to link all the details to an offsite location to load upon profile update / load. Not an easy change to do it right. You could just slam in the text, but then if anything changes down the road then the app needs to be updated to reflect that change. That's not a good to do.

High Idle Switch
It is perfectly safe to run MPG mode when it is cold. I suggest you wait until the truck is warmed up before going into MPG mode. MPG mode does NOT do anything to fueling. MPG mode actually REDUCES timing that that the ECM adds when IAT and ECT are cold. The edge will just add timing on top of what the ecm wants. No neg effect.

problem with Quadzillas custom tunning
Ensure the build data sensor has a value in it. that's the easiest way to know if you have V2 loaded on the box.

Did you buy it new?

Can you give us history on what you have? Does the box have V2 tuning loaded to it?

problem with Quadzillas custom tunning
Here's V1 tuning Here's V2 tuning Here's how you setup your computer to flash the box under the hood with the "base flash" The base flash files, including V1 tunes are found here https://mopar1973man.com/files/categories/

problem with Quadzillas custom tunning
I took screen shots and loaded them Your vehicle profile is what filters the tuning profiles. Right now you have the V1 tune profile selected. Have you loaded the V2 flash onto the box under the hood? You can see the V2 tuning profile by selecting "V2 dodge 1998-2002" from the vehicle selection menu in the Iquad app. However you need to match the profile to the flash you have on the box under the hood.
