  1. Yes that's too much for cruise. Right at 21* would be better.
  2. Going to 0 for cruise time will disable it. Go to .1 or similar
  3. Shouldn't need to. Plug in the quad then click the flash and get info from module
  4. haha No worries. @Dieselfuture let us know if you have any questions on the timing stuff, but I would just copy mikes tune for the timing.
  5. @Mopar1973Man The apk that was posted had issue, no idea what yet. @Dieselfuture the v2 quad only is my test truck for if I want to try something. but if you load the current flash you should run the v2 quad only as it has the boost limit variable. I run the hard fuel tune just because I need to test it. If you have a stock valve train keep the standard fuel tune. Also as of the posted flashes yesterday all flashes will have a new sensor called " build date" which tells you when the flash was created. we can use this to make sure we are all on the same page. Also the RPM limit now applies to canbus fueling too, keep in mind if you set RPM limit to 3200 fueling won't go to 0 just ramp down. Don't think of it as a hardlimit.
  6. sorry typing to fast thinking too slow. The ecm reports it in as 1 byte, but the ECM reports it as 1 = .5 kpa or A = .5 kpa in the obdlink stuff. Still only 1 byte. The conversion I have for the quad is (A * 2) / 7 = psi I would have figured that the ecm would report values the same, but every time I assume something the ecm proves to not follow that.
  7. @Dieselfuture Edit: alright I reposted the APK and it is working now, no idea what corrupted it orginally. Try to download it again from the windows 10 thread and load it you will see the right stuff again.
  8. there's an issue with that APK, no idea how, but I pulled it and am testing the app I have saved.
  9. This is VERY strange, 2nd person to have this issue. Uninstall the app fully and load it from dropbox again. I will try myself.
  10. New Mopar1973man.com revenue stream hahaha Mike will show up at your door
  11. Intersting to say the least. The ecm reports boost as 2 bytes per kpa over canbus not 1 byte per kpa. Good work.
  12. Could be your break light switch also. TP sinput break input and ECT temp coming up can cause high idle not to work. However it is far more likely your truck wasn't flashed successfully.
  13. My truck uses a early sensor though.... All I can say is our trucks electronics are very much a testing groudn for dodge /cummins to figure out the Electic injection control system on a diesel.
  14. That's not what I am finding. When I read boost from the ECM I see it come off "bottom" right away. It might send boost over obd differenly, but canbus at least seems to read boost at 0+ at idle regardless of altitude, same is true when I take my truck to sea level. My truck is a 00 tho so maybe there is a ambient pressure sensor being used where as 98-99 dont? late trucks however seem to read boost differently and I cannot explain it yet. I will know more in the summer when temps come up again.
  15. I would have killed to pick his brain haha.
  16. sorry gas is 6.9 per gal diesel is ~7.1 lb per gal
  17. Exactly. I wouldn't worry to much about timing being too high at say 55 mph if cruise locks in. It should be low enough to be troublesome. If fuel does spike and load jumps then you should easily clear that 15 psi limit. Another reason why I love my VGT haha I can literally set cruise boost pressure. I am able to do 80 mph at 2-3psi of boost
  18. Don't need a Quad just install the app and play with it. There's how you tune.
  19. Do you have an andriod phone? If so load the APK In the thread pinned to the top of the page. Play with it. Mike, Why not just bump your cruise timing psi to say 15 psi? For me at least I almost never sit at 13-20 psi, If I am at cruise I am below that and if I am on the throttle, even a little boost is above 20 psi. Is your truck less cut and dry? also Tyler pointed out a bug, if you are using CC and the quad kicks out of cruise state timing due to a load spike or boost spike the quad will show you OEM timing on the screen, it is sitll using quad timing. I will fix that but don't think too much into what timing is doing when CC is on and cruise state is disabled.
  20. That's the one that makes me nervous.
  21. @Mopar1973Man I think you need a couple jerry cans and a scale. Gas weights #7 per gallon. Weight the can before and after you fill your take from a section of road. That should give you exact amount of gas used for a trip even if you don't fill up hahahhaa.
  22. Pinned to the top of section. Something's up if you are only seeing 17 mpg though. What's timing sitting at cruise? Canbus message? I would run as high as possible on canbus without smoke. That should ensure most efficient running.
  23. Do you need to start that low on canbus? I would assume you would need to start in the 95 range for smoke free down there at sea level. Did you flash the latest I posted yesterday? Cruise timing is better on that one, but you will need to bump your cruise setting to 4*
  24. You would never notice a difference. The stock intercooler is very capible of handling your fueling.
