  1. You can buy a locking bolt setup for a d40 / d60 http://4x4posi-lok.com/app_dodge.html I just used a bolt and threaded it in but that above is clean.
  2. Just lock the cad in 4wd position. I haven't noticed any differnce since I did it in mine.
  3. Anyone need a 14" camper vent? I bought it for my camper thinking it would fit, but my camper has a smaller 9" vent. $35 shipped?
  4. I had a map code when the oil pressure sensor died and shorted. I would check the 5v lead on the map wire.
  5. Do you have any way to see what the map is showing for values? Do you have a boost fooler? p0177 is water in fuel so if you dont have the factory filter then I would check the plug where the OEM WIF light is . I am guessing it was jumped to fool the system into thinking hte sensors was still in place.
  6. I like my quad a lot, but honestly if it aint broke dont fix it ya know? If you are happy now then you really don't have a reason to change. As for installing a quad, it plugs in the same way as the edge, so not much to ad to that. The 3000 series tunes can surge at higher RPMS with low TPS input.
  7. We have good articles on the pn needed for both the 98-99 HD and 01-02 steering
  8. i'd do Rayebesto, AC delco pro
  9. I have wanted to cut the bottom of my tip to try and quite it down some
  10. For what it's worth I can't top 900*f unloaded and 1100*f loaded with the HE351VGT and the box turned down. apples to oranges, but I am very happy towing with the he351 here in rockies. At or near sea level I would never have an issue even with the box turned up.
  11. I dunno when I will have time to look, swamped this week. I would just buy the pigtail, cost less in time at this point.
  12. You will need a hx40 style down pipe ( dunno what you have now) It is gated ( you will need to supply 12v to the actuator to get 40psi gate) Pretty sure the cw is a t3 manifold. Here is one of the first guys to do it http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-performance-parts-discussion/151365-he351-retrofit-second-gen.html
  13. I wouldn't go with DDP's. DAP or DFI make great injectors DDP's can be smokey. I also wouldn't do a 3k for that price ( the injectors are worth ~$200) you should be able to find a he351 for half of that and have more air and better spool + cheaper parts.
  14. Awesome man. Making great progress. I patched a tire this weekend......
  15. The ones I got last year were the nongrease OEM spicers from danny's
  16. how much is the 3k and how many miles? I think the 3k has a 14cm exhaust housing which will allow for more top end, but also slow the spool down. Personally I am a huge fan of staying with holset stuff. The 3rd gen he351cw can take a heck of a beating and should be good for 450hp worth of air. ATS says the 3k is good to ~65 lb/min where as the he351cw is good to ~67-69lb/min
  17. I am not sure the spicers are failed, the hubs are off and I am chasing issues, mostly lacking of time, and I cannot see anything that would suggest bad ball joints. They are tight.
  18. In september, I will be trucking around the Western MT area. Whatever that's worth.
  19. hahaha...the natural state of a 2nd gen Dodge....
  20. I don't mind the snow, but there is currently a roof on my camper....IE the camper roof. I am gonna pull that off and fix the bad wood.
  21. Well not lookinglike I will get to put the canvas on this weekend.
