HELP... rear brake issues
You will lose speedo and other things, but if your shudder issue goes away then I am guessing the ABS is not liking the valve missing.

HELP... rear brake issues
It sounds to me like your ABS is fighting the whole time. I am honestly not sure how the RWD ABS works, only one sensor and somehow it knows when the rear end is locked up? Question I would have for other guys in your area running without issues is, is there some tire / grip difference that is causing your issue? IE: do they have better grip for one reason or another. beyond that I would look at why your ABS is trying to engage. Does the issue go away when you unplug the ABS? ( can you even do that on a 2nd gen to test? haha)

HELP... rear brake issues
I'd put the valve back in also. you are getting full pressure to the rear brakes all the time now vs only when loaded heavy. I would guess your brake bias is all out of wack.

NV4500 finally died...
If you think the whining is bad about the oven and car parts, just wait until you try and use the dish washer to clean parts........

Welcome! I will have to dig in the wiring diagram and take a look at the wiring in that area.

Time to upgrade Programmer
Map will jump around some + or - 2 psi. Anything more than that and I would say your map sensor is needing to be replaced.

automatic transmission late shift
Best thing to do is get a good rebuilt alternator and check it monthly. There is no reason why a good alternator with good diodes shouldn't last 50,000 miles.

Steering upgrades: How easy are they?
I personally wouldn't give them any money. Too many bad stories of bad customer service / shipping times / lost product / etc etc etc

still leaves the question, do we vote to expand their right to live how we want or do we vote to try and prevent the lifestyle they want? again I wish we could vote to get rid of the laws that say they can't, but getting rid of laws is about as likely as always being able to trust a fart, even pro's only bat .500

Ball joints
interesting. The 98 joints I got for my truck ( my truck has a 94 front axle) http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p2078_dana_spicer_707469x_ball_joint_set_for_1994_to_1998_12_dodge.html Don't have zerts....... Maybe the picture for the 00-02 joints is off? Might be worth calling and asking.

Steering upgrades: How easy are they?
00-02 will not work with 98-99 setup and 98-99 will not work with 00-02 setup. I think there is a significant amount of "this guy over on that site, it worked on my truck" out there for the 00-02 guys running the 98-99 setup just because it will actually fit and bolt in place, but it doesn't fit the taper still. there is some weird stuff in the 00-02 like dripley said, but I am pretty sure dodge didn't use 2 different taper's in the 00-02 trucks. doesn't make sense.

Steering upgrades: How easy are they?
the 98-99 will bolt up to a later truck....BUT the taper is wrong. yes it will bolt up, no you should not do it. square peg round hole. well slightly large hole slight smaller hole. It will make your steering not be as strong as they should be and creates a significant weak spot in the linkage.

Ball joints
Correct it can have up and down so long as there is no side to side.

Having an RV is almost a needed item now a days.....
It will always be a personal struggle of mine to walk the line between not judging...throw the first stone...and protecting my rights... Hard to do.

Having an RV is almost a needed item now a days.....
Agree whole heartily about letting the maker judge. What I struggle with is the fuzzy line between allowing people to have the freedom to do what they wish and my personal beliefs..... Do I vote to expand rights? or do I vote to try and get the government to do what I believe is socially right? I wish I could vote to not make laws, and get rid of laws that take our rights....but that doesn't happen. Good example, Do I vote to allow for *** marriage, even though I don't agree with it personally? I don't believe it is my place to keep people from doing things.....yet.... that whole thing. If only people didn't do bad things, we wouldn't need laws.

Ball joints
The link I posted are sealed, non grease-able OEM spicer numbers. Only thing I can't link is the OEM dodge number to the Spicer number, but those are what dana/spicer installs into the Dana 60. I am going to cut apart the spicers in my truck now and see what they look like. I am guessing that only the one upper is bad. I cannot stress how hard I hit the pothole and how big it was. I was honestly surprised it didn't break something major.
