  1. sounds like someone used dielectric grease on it. That is good. As long as there is no corrosion
  2. Go by some contact cleaner. I cant tell are the metal pins corroded or just dirty?
  3. I didn't see that in the image, but I wasn't looking either haha. What decimal point does it read to in AC mode?
  4. Multimeter needs to be in AC MV mode, unless it is a true RMS multimeter you can't use it to test.
  5. A he431ve would be comparable to your 62......... a he451ve on a cr truck would be freaking awesome. you can use a 6.7 exhaust manifold and just block the egr stuff. it will bolt to a 5.9 engine. Auto trucks would have to have the tranny heat exchanger moved as the cr exhaust manifolds place the turbo right where our trucks heat exchangers sit.
  6. No you need the right exhaust manifold and downpipe. for me it would be drop in because I already have a he351ve.
  7. The pricey orielly brand. Lifetime warranty, which really means a lifetime of replacing it.
  8. only in coolant and gas running back and forth to the store. I think I have gone through 3 water pumps so far.
  9. Comp 64 inducer 93 exducer turbine 76 inducer 67 exducer Only thing I don't know is if the exhaust side can close down enough to act as an EB on our trucks.
  10. That's the "feature" they add on to ensure you change your coolant each year. Nice of them.
  11. If I only had a triple disc and billet input....he451ve would be on my list. It is running really well now though, couldn't be happier.
  12. The vgt likes the mountains. No issues with my 7x.oo9s. And quad
  13. WOT however EGTS will be higher with the edge compared to the smarty,
  14. The reason why the EGTS are higher is due to the edge pushing 2x the fuel of the smarty. Not really apples to apples comparison. If you turn the edge down to be the same fueling wise as the smarty you won't have egt issues.
  15. Just pay the price for them from dodge, they are pricey regardless.
  16. put a nut on the end of the threaded section of the cam bolt, and hit it hard with a big hammer. Make sure you unload the suspension before doing that.
  17. I have read great things and terrible things about them. I am sure they have a similar failure rate to other new tires out there so that doesn't bother me much. I think I will try them next and see how they work.
  18. Smarty has it's own flash file that they say is "best" for the truck. I dunno what they do for the sensor so. Didn't do anything to my oil pressure gauge.
  19. I would assume they all use the same stuff. The quad will fuel harder than the edge, but don't expect to wow your underpants off. I would say the datalogging feature is by far the best thing about the quad over the edge.
  20. so when they did the upgrade did they flash the ecm and rewire the sensor? Or does the smarty not load that saved flash onto the ecm?
  21. My truck has been flashed with a smarty and I still have a working oil pressure gauge. I think the switch vs actual gauge is in the PCM not the ECM.,
  22. If OEM lasted 450k then I would go OEM again. Hard to beat those numbers.
  23. All the same gauges. there are 2 types of "tuning" you can do Base tunes: the base maps that are loaded onto the unit. 1000 series 2000 series, and beta series. Each of those is more aggressive. This is done by connecting the unit to your computer via USB. Custom tuning: you can adjust how much fueling stretch and what tps points it fuels and how much, then you can adjust timing. this is done on the iquad app. Everything about custom tuning thread http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-performance-parts-discussion/499304-everything-about-quadzilla-custom-tuning.html
  24. You can't and have all gauges work right Why not use the iquad app? It's great a cheap $50 tablet from walmart and you have a nice high res screen with all your gauges on it. You can take the tablet out and put it under the hood to troubleshoot with it, you can take it under the truck to adjust fuel pressure.
