Cycling grids? Could just be taking longer due to colder temps and taking longer to get heat built up before it’ll fire.

Starter contacts going bad, colder weather, failing batteries are first thing that comes to mind.

If you're going to be turning the wheels with the truck not moving I'd recommend stealing some of your wifes old baking sheets and putting them in the tires. Still has weight on all componets without the stress from the rubber trying to stay put on the ground.

When you say full op temp you meaning 190* for coolant temp?

Basically get whatever size injector you think will suit your needs combined with the quad will do really well. It’ll be smooth, you can tune it to be smoke free (to a point) so it should do all you want. Using your example, a quad with 50hp injectors will run like a stock stock until you step on the pedal, but no smoke and smooth.

I'm at sea level, but my .0085's won't smoke at all even with starting percentage at %110 and using wiretap. Not all injectors are alike!

As far as your fuel pressure gauge placement it’ll be fine and far enough away. Just barely crack the needle valve until you get pressure and you’re good to go. I’ll let someone else chime in about the ground mod as I haven’t done it myself.

Those last two are what I was really after when I was searching for my second 2nd gen but the demand has driven those prices clear out of my range. One day when the prices come back I may find an 02 6spd. I say if you can afford it then go ahead but I’d definitely haggle the heck out of em to get that price down!

Have you tried reloading your tune? Making sure all the settings are in place for wiretap to be active?

Similar sized injectors here from Infinite and he recommended 300 bar.

I can't speak for aeroturbine/jones but the FTE has a nice sound to it with just resonator alone. I didn't do the install but I believe my cousin mentioned that he couldn't get it to attach directly to the downpipe so I think there's one small pipe between the resonator and downpipe.

So you replaced the entire hard fuel line? Where did you find the replacement at?

Went through a similar process as you before. Sold that truck but new owner put a 30in fte resonator on it and it’s perfect.

If this is for the lock up switch mod the that relay needs to be removed and have a jumper wire put in its place. Is that what you’re suggesting he do @IBMobile?

Dimmer switch. Just pull it out of the cubby and run a test light to verify which wire it is.

Would that mount still work with a dash mat?
