Quadzilla on a stock truck
I think we were pointing out just that. Although we were using examples of slightly bigger injectors then rv275s, I ran the quad and stock injectors for quite a while and it was a solid setup. We’re also pointing out that even with bigger injectors (like the 7x0.008’s I have) and similarly sized injectors will run just as clean as smaller ones. Obviously there’s a tipping point and certain size (read: large) injectors won’t be as clean but all in all MUCH cleaner then any other tuner available.

Quadzilla on a stock truck
I have rv275s that have been spec’d to 7x0.008 or around 75-90hp and an HX35 with a 47re.

Quadzilla on a stock truck
Can confirm, practically my exact setup, and I can’t get it to smoke even if I wanted FWIW, I was able to run 7x.012 SACs with a HX35 with MINIMAL smoke and a solid tune. I wouldn’t advise you do the same for a daily driven truck but just puts into perspective the tuneability vs clean power the quad is capable of.

Hard to start
I cant remember if that has the return ball and spring for pressure regulation, but if so that’d be worth replacing as it could not be holding as firmly as it once did and leaking.

Hard to start
Since you’ve replaced everything upfront already it’s more then likely one of your connections at the top of the fuel module leaking or just some tiny leak you haven’t seen up on the fuel lines. Clean them really good, then with the truck running use a fresh paper towel and grab all possible leak areas is a good way to check for hard to see leaks. What FASS system do you have?

Hard to start
@mountaindan Since you’ve already determined that parking downhill fixes the problem, if you park nose uphill with a full tank of gas and it starts ok, then you’ve narrowed your problem.

Hard to start
He/you know what I meant! It’s been a while since I installed mine but I don’t think they do have screens.

Hard to start
I’d suggest parking nose up hill overnight with a full tank of gas and seeing if the problem still persists.

Did you do anything to the straw for the return from the head/injectors into the basket? Or is it an old school straw only, independent from the module?

Has your fuel module been modified?

Are those mounts compatable with a-pillar gauge mounts?

Front axle centering
When I installed my adjustable track bar, I aligned it like you mentioned, by going off how level the end links were. I then took it to a 4x4 shop so I knew they'd understand how to adjust and align a track bar and they said no adjustment was needed, it was about 1/8th inch off.

will it tow
notlimah replied to oldhippie66@comcast.net's topic in 2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / PerformanceIsn’t there a double pod mount for the steering column? I can’t remember.

Best batteries for our trucks
Where'd those come from? I’d honestly say buy from wherever gives you the best/easiest warranty. Truck just sat for a few months and I came back to dead interstate batteries (which were less then a year old) and all I did was run them back to Costco and get news ones, no questions asked.

Air Impact Wrench Recommendation
I’ve never had trouble breaking things loose with my snapon air impact and it’s only a 3/8’s. I have zero problem buying from HF but certain things I’ll shell out a bit more for, especially when good deals can be had on Craigslist and what not.

will it tow
notlimah replied to oldhippie66@comcast.net's topic in 2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / PerformanceTo answer the OPs question that setup should tow a moderate amount ok. Depending how low the ‘low stall’ converter is will really make or break whether or not the setup will work well or not.

2016 Silverado Mileage
Thanks @CTcummins24V look forward to it. And thanks @dorkweed, that little switch just now made me realize I probably just killed my batteries from not unplugging my obd reader while letting the truck sit. ?

2016 Silverado Mileage
Same question. I have no problem putting it in manual and driving in 5th but not being able to keep it on V8 on the highway is a pain. Plus good luck getting my wife to remember do to that every time! ?♂️

3rd or 4th Gen upgraded steering linkage? SAFETY RECALL (page two))
Only thing I’ve seen about different pitman arms is on the lifted trucks. If you’re 2in or below of lift you’ll be fine with the stocker.
