i engage my into 4hi at 5 to 10 mph...4lo...in neutral..foot on brake then into 4lo...the put it in drive...and in the none snow season..once a month for 1 mile i engage the 4hi and drive to keep stuff lubed.

along with this subject...the oil passage in the turbo...supply and return line..on the turbo it's self is NOT BIG at all..my opinon is at least two minutes of idle time and maybe more in the summer..the automatic trucks dont cool down as fast as manual trannyed truck!

control of the right foot and keep it under the 2,000 r.p.m. range for best mpg's talking hiway here...more boost psi and higher egt's equals more fuel and less mpg's:smart:
