  1. The new Chevy 's seem awfully bright as well. Could be due to fact that I see a lot of leveled trucks and they don't adjust lights. But the newer trucks are bright tho. L8tr D
  2. I've been running LEE's on the exterior now for about a year. It's a huge difference. Mike, IIRC, you have additional back up lights, correct? For me with regular back ups, the LED's made the most difference there. I have all the bulbs to do the interior including dash (hopefully headlights & heated seats switches as well) . Enjoy D I need to do something with my fogs now
  3. the reasoning is sound as well. One thing I never thought about. L8tr D
  4. I'm pretty sure it's new. L8tr D
  5. Feels good to back posting. It's been way too long and I have been way too busy to be away from this great forum. Anyway I helped my buddy @Brubro67 flush his power steering fluid today. He came back and the noise was still there so I went for a ride with him. The noise did come back but for a short time. To me it sounded like a high pitched squeal like a belt slipping or a bearing. When we got back the fluid was low probably from getting the rest of the air out of the system. Hopefully topping it off will take care of it. I wonder if there's anything in the hydroboost that could make a sound like that but I doubt it. We agreed that he should take the belt off and check the power steering pump to see if the is any play in it or feel if a bearing is heading south. He will also check all others pulleys to make sure they are good. I'm glad it doesn't do it constantly because it was very annoying. Hopefully he can narrow it down this week. Glad to be back and hope stay. L8tr d P.S. @Mopar1973Man I hope you are feeling better
  6. Make sure you use TCW-3 two stroke oil as well L8tr D
  7. How are all your electrical connections especially grounds? Might try cleaning them up. I'm going to throw this out to see if anyone knows. Is it possible the pcm is not regulating the alternator correctly or possibly reading a wrong temp from the battery? L8tr D
  8. Are you asking about the switch on the left? That raises and lowers the front of the seat.
  9. I replaced the motor and got to do the resistor. Is the resistor a PITA to replace? My hands are probably too big. L8tr D
  10. I knew you would come back with your reply. That's why I was careful in my wording "replacement bulbs"
  11. LED headlights or fogs? I think there are few, if any, legal LED replacement bulbs for either. Most are labeled as off road only. LED headlights can't be used in reflector housing as they scatter light too much. L8tr D
  12. Does the truck start right up or does it have to crank a little longer? I had the same dead pedal. A new vp44 and all is good. Hopefully it's something less expensive than that. Definitely get a gauge for fuel pressure. I once blew the fuse for my lift pump and it would not run. Maybe low pressure is causing your issue. Unfortunately that could lead to vp44 failure. Are you adding 2 stroke oil to the fuel? L8tr D
  13. It is just a weird combination. The fogs did help the headlights look whiter. On my truck just the opposite, 5000k headlights & stock fog light bulbs. Next upgrade is new fogs wth 5000k bulbs L8tr D
  14. Now that I have mine adjusted correctly they are pretty much the same. The only difference was the 300 had 3500k+/- bulbs and I do not prefer that yellowish color. Plus the fog lights were like 6000k. L8tr D
  15. That's why it took me so long to get them adjusted. I don't want that to happen. So far so good. Probably passed 50-75 vehicles last night and no high beam flash. Driving the chrysler 300 we rented helped me see what a factory HID looks like. L8tr D
  16. Hids are awesome and you will be very pleased. I think I just got the final tweak done on mine. Test drive in a few minutes. L8tr D
  17. I was wondering how your headlights were coming along. Almost there. L8tr D
  18. I'm up on NYC right now on vacation and wont be back until a week from tomorrow. I am still on the first tank. I will let you know after I get back and fill up. We rented a chrysler 300, what a different driving experience that is. L8tr D
  19. I realized you probably posted your results here after I asked in your garage post. it's nice having that AC ripple a lot lower. L8tr D
  20. You can't go wrong here. The guys here have tons of great knowledge. Myself excluded of course. L8tr D
  21. I do have the steering wheel controls but did not spend the extra $80 bucks for adapter for it. I've never had steering wheel controls so I can't say if I miss it or not. L8tr D
