1. I wasn't giving the forum a bad name, nor did I have any intention of doing so. Was just stating what I seemed to read/notice there.I have registered, but more in a lurking fashion, for now. I tend to use the search capabilities, prior to asking, in case it's been asked numerous times over. :cool:I'm thick-skinned. I have to be, or else all this fat would pour out everywhere :)Same as here: Rogan
2. I mean the plunger switch, like at the brake pedal arm. I've seen it (had the issue) where the brake pedal switch would be slightly out of adjustment (not enough to trip the brake lights on, though) causing the "CANCEL" circuit in the CC to be triggered; this would cause the CC not to 'SET'. It is weird that it worked fine, prior.. So the "CRUISE" light goes on/off just fine, then? It just won't 'SET'?
3. I had a Merkur 2.3L gas turbo motor do that, and it was a crack in the steel head, between the plug and exh. valve seat. cold, it'd run fine. once it warmed up, it'd miss and stumble like mad.
4. Thanks, John. Do you happen to have a pic of them on yours? I know it's pretty self-explanatory, as the provisions for these already exist on the front end. But how does it react with the plow on? Does the suspension sit on these? If so, how's the ride, at that point? Having never seen the Timbrens IRL, I dunno how the clearances are, loaded and/or empty. Regards,
5. check your pedal switch(es) for proper adjustment.
6. that's insane...

8. Michael, within your table structure, you've got subtables (using maint. int. table as an example), that have (from what I understand) variables.. Ex: MAINTENANCE INTERVAL
AIR FILTER
InspectionReplace

Are these essentially "Yes/No" or "either/Or" selections? Are these to be a drop-down option for the fields in which you want to populate user data? Are you not allowing NULL values?
9. Thanks. Odd thing is, I've looked into that, and seems all the 'front' airbag kits I find state "2 wheel drive".. LOL(psst.. I'd like to hear/read more on your GDP Walbro GSL392 regulator setup) I've got a big Bosch inline pump, but it produces crazy head pressure if not regulated/returned, as it's designed for Mechanical FI cars (944t, etc.) cars. )
10. thanks! I'm actually in the middle of replacing all my ball joints and TREs right now. I'm about 50% complete. Ball joints get done next week. I opted to let a shop deal with that headache.
11. awesome, thank you. --- Update to the previous post... So, today, I did the R/I tie-rod, and the 2" leveling kit. Found out that my LF Upper ball joint is all but toast, so that'll need fixed ASAP.. The Steering damper just absolutely would not come out of the RFI tie rod. I tried everything, including heat.. So I guess I'll just buy a new one.. After the 2" leveling kit, my 295-75s clear the fenders and everything. It's nice to have total steering lock-to-lock back
12. Steve White Motors. That's where I got mine..

14. where's your relay, young man??!!
15. it's all good, Mike. No worries. Just thought I'd start a thread here, in case we wanted to discuss small topics on plowing and such.. Oh, and I'm thick-skinned. and lined with blubber.
16. having registered there, and done some reading there, you'd better be tough-skinned. Seems like when someone makes a rook mistake, the correction/education comes in the form of a make-fun ordeal.Makes a guy not want to ask questions, in my opinion.
17. I've got a plow for my '01 2500 QCSB, but haven't installed it yet.. It's a listed weight of 650# (8ft poly). I'm about to put a 2" leveling kit on this week. I've got 200# of ballast for the bed (suggested by plow manufacture, to be placed 8" from tailgate, inside the bed), but I'm curious as to what else I need to look into, prior to hitching up..Suggestions?

19. whew! I was just about to swap that $100 part! LOLburping the throttle will show a quick spike to 15-15.5psi, settling back to 14ish..what are you logging with, and such?
20. I learned them with a saying (not really "P.C."), but:Bad Boys Rape Our Young Girls But Violet Gives WillinglyBlack Brown Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Voilet Gray White0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9Green Blue Orange = 56k Ohms. Gold 4th stripe = 5% tolerance(sorry for the redundancy.)
21. to replace the top half of the dash, with say, Geno's one (the ABS piece), doesn't require the entire dash to be removed, does it? I was looknig into one, since my dash looks like a JDAM hit mine, leaving the windshield intact. Heck, even the front bezel is all but falling off onto the floor..Looks to me, that there's a few screws across the top, one on each side by the a-pillar, and a couple along the bottom edge. so maybe removing the pass. airbag, the instr. cluster, and front bezel, etc., would be all that's needed? Again, I dunno, but by looking at the replacement ones, there isn't a ton of screws holding the things in place..But as I said, I don't know, only stared/studied pics of the replacements. There isn't enough dash left in mine to use a 'dash cap'..
22. was the dye visible 'externally' on those two bolts, prior to dis-assembly?--edit---is this off your '97? I ask, because the compressor date is 2000...and the part number U4789 doesn't show up on the Sanden parts list, that I can find, anyway..
23. having some php and a bit of MySQL DB history, I can try to help you if you'd like. Im more familiar with SyBase and Oracle DB space, but I do deal with ColdFusion, PHP and the likes..
