ROUGH RIDING
If you torch the ball joints be careful. @Mopar1973Man did you not have one of the studs on yours blow out of the joint with quiie a bit force a while back or was that someone else? I rebuilt my front end at 240k on the oe parts. Replaced them all with Moog, pre federal mogul, and sitting at 215k on them now hoping they go another 50k. We will see.

2001 Ram 2500 complete interior restoration
When mine first starting and a piece broke off I taped on and smeared silicone all over the back of it, let it set and then pulledmthe tape off. That held until I replaced it. Imalso smeared silicone all over the back where ever it was cracked. All that stayed together. It was the new cracks that formed and a couple pieces that fell off that finally condemed mine. This new sure is pretty though.

Where would you put this?
Since I am only 12" tall, 3 to 4 inches sounds about right!!!

What makes 24 valves sound different from each other?
Your effort is appreciated. While I like the BHAF it does allow a lot intake noise under the hood and to the cab.

Air & Exhaust Article - BHAF Muffler Uhh??
Well i might be in search of a piece of pipe. Did you not add a clamp for the BHAF to the pipe?

2001 Ram 2500 complete interior restoration
I lost tabs and chunks out of mine. The last time I took it out I lost a chunk while holding it in my hand. Just standing there and it hit the ground with me still holding onto the piece that was in my hand. I think once they get to the point of cracking they are not worth saving. It sucked paying 200 bucks for a new one but mine was shot.

thank goodness it is not a chicken or you would have caught a lot of crap by now. I think its discrimination. We must love all of our fowl equally.

Exhaust Brake Minimum Setup 2002 Cummins w/ Manual Trans
Mine was set up with one wire on the PCM, ECT, and TPS. Cold start it stayed engaged until 140*. I think, correct me if I am wrong, the PCM sent a speed signal to the EB's brain so it could shut off at 15 mph and reengage at 35mph providing the TPS showed 0% throttle. There is also a 1.5 to 2 second delay in it engaging. Their is also a wire that connected, where I am not sure, for the cruise control that would not let it engage while cruise was turned. My cruise was not working at the time so I did not connect it. After getting cruise fixed it would engae while cruising and the egt's would go from 600* to 1300* very quickly.

98 crank no start
While you are getting fuel to the VP if the ECM is not turning the VP on, so to speak, it will not start. Crack some of the injectors open and you can see if any fuel is getting there.

Exhaust Brake Minimum Setup 2002 Cummins w/ Manual Trans
I undersrand where you are coming. Should of soaked the title in a bit better. It is a bit frustrating and times not being to look below someones post and not being able to see what they are working with. By no means are you alone. We have a lot members with no signatures. Did not mean to pick on you alone.

98 crank no start
Is the WTS lit when you try to start it??
-
98 crank no start
With the wait to start light wacking out, it could be a bit deeper, like maybe the ECM, weak battaries or starter.

Bottom of dipstick looks melted?
Mine is tapered but the point is round. Should have been a bit clearer.

Exhaust Brake Minimum Setup 2002 Cummins w/ Manual Trans
Just FYI, I have ad EB on my 02 from Banks. It is all controlled with the hardware provided just like any EB you can find for an 02. I have a bit of a problem when I dont know year truck folks are speaking when it is listed in one post and not in their signature. Not trying to beat anyone over the head but the signatures sure help in providing good info. Had mine for about 7 years now.

Orage wire labeled PTO
You know where it comes from?

First 4x4 front unit bearing replacement.....
I have had several bolts I removed for the first time that have sounded like that thru the years. Even some that I reinstalled and removed later.

First 4x4 front unit bearing replacement.....
I never had any trouble with getting them apart except the first time. I dont remember the bolts being terribly difficult the first time and definitely not difficult since then. I have had mine out on 3 occasions since and has been a piece of cake. I put anti seize on the unit bearing but thats all. I dont remember the torque values however.

Great job. I just put a new bezel in mine and it made feel that good too. Did the dash and the hvac box a few years back and bezel slowly disintegrated
